Small Girls PR is looking for a Producer to support the Experiential service line. You'll help us establish SGPR as the go-to agency for exciting and out-of-the-box event production across multiple verticals, like beauty, fashion, food and beverage, and technology. This role will support, and sometimes lead, all production from concept of experience, to selling through the idea to the client and bringing it to life while ensuring budgets and deadlines are met.
In addition to event production, our Experiential team also executes all of the press stunts that our agency dreams up. Press and influencer mailers, consumer hotlines, and brand partnerships are just some of the ideas that you will help us bring off of the page and into the real world.
This role will work from our NY HQ and report to the Head of Experiential Production based in LA, overseeing and contributing to all client production efforts on behalf of Small Girls PR.
Note: Small Girls PR is currently in the office on a hybrid basis, working two days a week in the office.
How you'll make an impact:
- Work collaboratively on experiential production with internal teams + clients across multiple verticals
- Depending on the complexity, oversee all touch points of experiential production (creative pitching, activation decks, leading meetings, budget management, vendor and venue management, contracts, permitting and more). For highly complex experiences, support the Head of Experiential Production who will lead execution.
- Furnish original, thoughtful experiential concepts that successfully ladder back to client and agency goals including logistics, vision, aesthetics, custom Instagrammable moments, mailer design, and presentation of event or campaigns in-full. Concepts for experiences will range from IRL & virtual events, to custom mailers, hotlines, partnerships and microsites.
- Graphic design / art direction skills, including proficiency in creating visual mockups. Role includes responsibilities for visuals and design for pitches and activation decks to sell through experiential ideas. 3D rendering ability is a plus.
- Champion events of all sizes. Complexity could range from 15-person intimate dinners to large scale consumer-facing or high guest counts with custom fabrication.
- Facilitate and contribute to new business including fielding initial introductory calls, developing proposals, and presenting to prospects. New business may be for standalone experiential projects, or for integrated work with the agency's press and influencer teams.
Why we'll love you:
- You have 3-5+ years of true Experiential production experience, skilled at overseeing and producing events and tracking budgets of $50k - $500k+
- You can collaborate with peers of different specialties, collaborating to develop integrated programs
- You communicate professionally with clients and are able to drive and contribute at client meetings. You have experience working directly with clients & their partners regarding strategy, opportunities, partnerships and more
- You create decks that effectively communicate original event ideas relevant to client goals. You are able to independently create floor plans and creative mockups. You're a visual thinker who can whip up a design, mockup, and moodboard to communicate your vision to others.
- You have a proven track record of working on multiple projects at once, and are detail oriented with a creative flare
- You have a history of executing pop-up activations in high foot traffic areas (including permitting, staffing, build out and creative direction)
- You have the ability to travel regularly for site visits and event days as needed
- You adjust quickly to changing client priorities; you cope and respond supportively to complexity and thrive on tackling new challenges
- You have a long list of your favorite vendors, venues, and freelancers to tap for different types of projects
- You're willing to get your hands dirty (literally...painting, cleaning, decaling, whatever needs to get done to make the event perfect), knowing no task is too small or menial. You're comfortable with all setup & strike logistics / overnight installs etc.
- You know about trends, communities, partnerships and events before others, generating campaign suggestions that connect these emerging concepts to client initiatives.
Why you'll love us:
- Atypical Time: a generous PTO plan that scales with tenure in addition to both Summer Fridays and Winter Fridays, Day of Rests for mental health, Caregiving days, and time off for Unsick Days dedicated to preventative care.
- Dedicated Time Each Day for Deep Work: Our unique Smalls In Sync program carves out daily time for you to collaborate with colleagues as well as have the space to do get your strategic, solo work done
- We invest in you: We have 100% employer covered medical leave, contribute to your 401k (whether you decide to contribute or not), in addition to contributing towards your gym memberships, dental, vision, data plans / home WiFi, and daily commute. We budget for you to network each month as well as reimburse professional development as it applies to roles, from InDesign to public speaking.
- A strong culture: We have an employee-led committee that determines company policy together and another dedicated to planning our weekly celebrations and quarterly outings (virtual or otherwise), book clubs and employee-coached trivia & intramural activities, a pet-friendly office when we're not remote, a penchant for karaoke, and we've even taken our staff on vacations overseas.
At Small Girls PR, fairness and equity are incredibly important factors throughout our hiring process. As a result, we have a set salary threshold for each role to ensure our teams are compensated equitably. At this level, the salary threshold is $68.5k-$68.5k.

At SGPR we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
