As an Executive Communication Program Manager, you will work directly with Executive Communication Team to develop and amplify HP Product and Services narratives, executive content and thought leadership programs. This role requires strong storytelling and content development experience with executive positioning, external influencer relationships, internal stakeholders, and original point-of-view content.

The Executive Communication Specialist must be an excellent writer, compelling storyteller and possess strong social and digital skills while executing against deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will be biased toward action and consistently turn strategy into execution to achieve strong results.

This role reports to the Head of Executive Communications and will be responsible for supporting the Executive Communications leads to amplify the voices of HP’s Product and Solutions Presidents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling and original communication materials that support HP’s Senior Business Executives growth strategies, communications plans and thought leadership programs.
  • Create internal memos, authored content, speeches, executive briefing books and story pitches that connect executive voices to key themes and topics that matter to their stakeholders.
  • Build PowerPoint narratives and slides suitable for senior level presentations and consumption.
  • Manage executive social thought leadership programs and editorial calendar.
  • Produce high-impact, creative and scalable content in support of editorial strategy across earned, owned and social platforms.
  • Ensure central repository of all HP senior executive communications content.
  • Support the Executive Communications Leads to amplify the voice of HP’s Presidents.
  • Work closely with other communications disciplines including employee engagement, media relations, corporate communications, to create content and ensure alignment.
  • Work across the enterprise to drive collaborative and integrated communications plans with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Business Units and support functions.

Education And Experience Required

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of experience in executive communications, external communications, journalism, or marketing.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Employee communications and/or executive communications experience
  • Superior storytelling, writing and editing skills; strong oral communications skills and ability to convey complex ideas.
  • Proven experience crafting social and digital content, thought leadership content and content strategy
  • Superior organization and program management skills within fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management.
  • Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results.
  • Understands the evolving media landscape and newsworthy storytelling
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy.
  • Flexible, nimble, and able to thrive within a growing and evolving organization
  • A relentless focus on the details.
  • Collaborative in nature.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (PPT, Word, Excel) & Collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom)

Per the state of Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in Vancouver at the time of this posting, is $89,200 - $137,400. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
