POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Digital is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Ecommerce P&L including Net Sales, gross profit and operating expenses.
- Manage all digital marketing channels and budget in order to maximize paid search, affiliates, re-targeting and email.
- Develop and clearly define a strategy for expanding the brand's digital presence and reach, including but not limited to partnerships, user generated content, leveraging influencers and sweepstakes.
- Analyze the effectiveness of online marketing investments, results, methods, and costs.Determine the annual marketing investment needed to meet/exceed growth goals, demand goals, and drive traffic.
- Work to define program KPI's and program specific strategies to capitalize on each program in driving new and repeat customers to purchase.
- Maintain and expand the digital influencer campaigns.
- Manage the brand's partnerships with affiliate sites.
- Provide customer analysis; segmenting customers, establishing reporting infrastructure, tracking performance, and presenting the results to the team.
- Collaborate with Buying and Planning to execute all online merchandising strategies and drive consistent messaging between channels.
- Coordinate with the creative team on the creation of banners, e-mails and other digital marketing assets.
- Work closely with all cross-functional teams impacting the ecommerce business including, but not limited to, Buying, Planning, Merchandising, Communications, Creative Services, and Finance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years senior leadership of an ecomm business
- 3+ years of product merchandising and planning
- High taste level
- Previous experience managing direct reports
- Excellent organizational and communication skillsxcellent Excel skill, V Lookups
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external cross functional teams
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Social Media Advertising, Affiliate Programs and email marketing tools.
- Previous experience with Shopify, KWI, Mi9, Magento and/or Salesforce/Demandware
- Bachelor's degree required
