Social Media Manager Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV) Description:

Summary

Responsible for assisting the Director of Digital Strategy in the day to day operation of the property’s presence on social media by developing and executing a variety of Social Media duties, ensuring consistency in voice and content. Responsible for planning and scheduling the content calendars for all GEI properties and tracking/responding to fan/follower comments across all channels. Coordinates with the property Marketing and PR teams to ensure social media is supporting all common goals and efforts.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff
  • Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
  • Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
  • Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Plan digital content calendars for all GEI properties
  • Organize and assist in quarterly and monthly content production planning for both paid digital media and organic
  • Manage and lead quarterly content curation and ideation
  • Point of contact/lead on site photoshoots and video shoots
  • Lead and manage community management for all GEI properties
  • Assist in influencer marketing efforts, this includes: Evaluating, scheduling/coordinating trips and reporting on content performance post trip
  • Manage relationship and communication with property marketing teams
  • Lead and manage in-house social media tools
  • Assist in reporting on content performance
  • Open digital jobs and traffic in a timely manner
  • Contribute to media planning by providing industry updates
  • Own and manage creative matrix for all mediums with our agency
  • Collaborate with property marketing teams in completing planned media
  • Own auditing websites on a monthly basis
  • Assist in closing the gap between social media/media efforts and our websites
  • Assist Director on monthly website reporting
  • Provide digital industry updates and trainings
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Multiple years previous experience performing same or similar job duties
  • Background in process redesign and improvements, business requirements gathering, user experience/usability, web solutions development, UI design, consumer journey mapping, and media and search strategies
  • Social media consumer engagement experience, including monitoring, analytics, and reputation management
  • Strong interpersonal leadership skills and creative thinking with experience leading operational stakeholders to the development of innovative digital campaign strategies
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work as team member
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented data-driven decision maker
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Previous online retail sales experience preferred
  • Bandwidth to lead multiple and varied projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor or associate degree in relevant field preferred
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
