What You'll Do
We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager, Global Partnerships and Collaborations for our Brand business unit. This role will work with the Global Partnerships Director to execute partnership strategy and campaign level marketing with a heavy concentration around 360 marketing plan development for Wilson’s NFL partnership and brand collaborations.
Additional Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop, execute and optimize consumer marketing strategies with oversight from with the Global Partnerships Director . Own the development and delivery of annual Partnership 360 integrated plans including GTM and partner tool kits. This includes leading a cross-functional team (creative, media, comms, PR, e-comm, etc)
- Brief and provide clear, concise feedback in the creation of partnership and collab marketing and media such as campaign creative, digital media, event activations, and POP. Own the communication, optimizations for each step in this process
- Under the guidance of the Global Brand Partnerships Director , run point on all performance marketing efforts in order to accelerate ecommerce and leverage partnerships and collabs for brand equity and growth
- Partner closely with the Global Collaborations Product Manager on all collaboration development in order to best inform how this role develops the 360 marketing plans for reach collab
- Collaborate with GTM team on digital media plans supporting etail and strategic account growth across all partnerships and collabs charged to the role
- Work with the Wilson Live team to roll out Wilson Live initiatives across NFL and Collabs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with relevant partner and collab brands, represent the brand in all external meetings and comms, establish communication cadence with partners and internal teams
- Communicate marketing plans and recaps in a timely and collaborative manner out across Team Sports, GTM, BU brand teams, Sportswear group and collab, league partners
- Own approval process, status meetings and day to day league and collab execution needs
- Deliver strategies and guidelines on-time to PR, Social, Community and Influencer teams to ensure on-strategy content and distribution. As required also collaborate with other BUs and Sportswear to promote Wilson collabs and partnerships across the Wilson ecosystem
What We're Looking For
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related area. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing for a brand. Must have a proven track record of deploying performance marketing to achieve business results.
Additional Requirements Will Include
- Experience briefing, running and optimizing digital media campaigns including experience running direct marketing campaigns with proven results
- Digital Product Curiosity – appetite to change the game for Wilson team sports with cutting edge technology and progressive social/digital marketing stories and promises
- Built and optimized partnership campaigns for a brand
- Creative Problem Solver - high level of creativity, both with problem-solving and program development. Must be able to generate creative ideas and work alongside creative in an intensely collaborative environment. Driven to create best in class 360 Platform activations
- Self-Motivated - confidence to take initiative and ownership, bring new ideas to the table, and influence optimizations in process and GTM strategies
- Hyper Efficient - proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects across multiples brands in a dynamic environment with strong organizational, communication and follow-through skills
- Master Collaborator –manage and communicate detailed, integrated plans across functions and personalities from Commercial, R&D, Legal, and Product to Marketing partners (PR, Social Media, Experiential and Ecomm)
- Sophisticated Consumer Mindset – openness to constantly challenging the status quo, rooting out the most progressive marketing tactics to surround and engage the Team Sports consumer (player/fan)
- Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills
- Advanced Power Point skills – from content development to professional, streamlined formatting
- Available for travel (~25%+); including work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required by events and business needs
