Job description:
The VP, Integrated Planning is a new global role, reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. It is a hybrid role, focused on bridging communications and marketing together into a new breed of integrated digital. The role is focused on three core areas:
- Ecosystem design, multi-channel strategies and activation planning This dynamic leader will help architect multi-channel strategies with a strong focus on go-to-market (GTM) and product launch strategies across paid, owned, earned.
- Paid media strategy, optimization, and operational excellence Responsible for operationalizing and scaling our limited media buying capabilities that support our influencer, organic social programs, and unique content and search marketing strategies. Working closely with media buying partner agencies in the Plus Co network and within client’s IAT.
- General product development and solutions design support Coordinate with the SVP, Digital on development of agency capabilities aligned with our development roadmap, and in response to specific client needs. Help bring mature digital services to market at scale as a consultant, team lead and business manager.
Leadership Strengths:
- This role requires a strong marketing and communications background and the ability to convey strategies through thought-leadership, credentials, pitches and directly with client teams.
- Seeking a strong leader who is capable of building magnetism for the team, handling a wide variety of leadership roles and supporting the development of our growing digital team.
- Comfort in playing a lead role in leading the ongoing development of our digital comms and digital media offerings at the agency, where we look for opportunities to add value to our clients through social, community, programmatic, search, SEO, influencer, owned and burgeoning categories like web3, loyalty, and decentralized communities. This is not a role for a traditional media planner, but someone with forward vision and ability to work beyond paid media.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Receive client briefs, understand the business objective and how paid media can complement or enhance other channels such as organic social, earned media, owned channels, or influencer marketing work through multi-channel and cross-channel activation strategies
- Analyze existing data from previous campaigns, social, search, web analytics, and audience insight platforms to inform digital programs and activation approaches.
- Assist with setting goals and informing measurement models using a mix of techniques based on past performance, business goals, market sizing, consumer insights, and traffic forecasting.
- Work closely with our VP, Performance Content to develop capabilities and services that utilize the potential of dynamic content optimization, natural language processing, and generative AI
- Lead new business pursuit, annual planning, and other major growth initiatives for core clients and prospects

Qualifications:
- Previous experience at a digital marketing, advertising, influencer, media, or PR agency.
- Seeking 10-15 years of overall experience in marketing/communications
- 5+ years experience working directly with digital advertising platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google and other DSPs
- Knowledge, experience, and ability to set direction across multiple digital platforms and channels across owned, earned, and paid
- Experience with CRM, e-comm, and marketing automation strategies
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (1x/mo)
