Digital Content Intern

We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for progressive causes and an interest in social influence to join Vocal’s 3-month internship program from June to August 2023.

As a Digital Content Intern, you'll work with our Campaign Managers to discover up-and-coming content creators for our digital campaigns, build TikTok Trend reports and newsletters, and support the management and maintenance of our creator database. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of progressive digital campaigns, while flexing your creative muscles.

Responsibilities

• Creator Sourcing: Source creators for future partnerships and campaigns.
• Trend Reports: Assist in developing bi-weekly TikTok trend reports, including trending sounds, top videos, and growing accounts for distribution to our client organizations.
• Database Management: Enter quality data into our influencer database, including location, demographics, follower counts, etc.
• Report internally to Vocal team and leadership
• Attend weekly Vocal team calls

Qualifications

• Professional or volunteer experience in organizing, social media, or content creation
• Passion for progressive politics and strong cultural competency
• Understanding of an ever-changing social media landscape
• Great organizational & communication skills with a strong commitment to follow up
• Experience with Google Drive and AirTable a plus, willingness to learn if not familiar is required
• Availability to work and attend meetings during regular business hours (i.e. 9-5pm local time)

Compensation & Benefits

• Completely virtual work environment
• Work in any timezone within the continental US — EST hours not required
• $30/hour for no more than 15 hours/week
