Position Summary/Objective: The Senior Lynx Business Operations Executive will assist the Senior Director of Tickets Sales and Service and the President of Lynx Business Operations with a multitude of day to day operational projects. This position will lead President’s Circle renewals, influencer events, and activation of the program. The Executive works hand in hand with the President of Lynx Business Operations on numerous strategic initiatives to enhance the day to day business operations and drive revenue for the franchise.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Lynx business operations strategic initiatives; including project implementation, strategic planning, and team services and operations.
  • Assist President and Director in servicing and activating President’s Circle. Responsibilities include maintaining and renewing current President Circle member relationships, event planning and execution of member/prospect events.
  • Drive new revenue through President’s Circle and ticket sales.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on the planning and execution of President’s Circle initiatives.
  • Maintain and utilize a thorough knowledge of the team, arena services and President’s Circle benefits.

What Are Your Proficiencies Or Equivalent Experiences

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Archtics is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to be strategic, creative and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to establish effective client and interdepartmental relationships, manage multiple client contacts and projects, and drive business.
  • Strong project management skills focused on organization, time management and planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a group of highly motivated individuals, and also be an independent thinker.
  • Able to interface with colleagues, senior executives, and clients effectively and personably, recognizing the need to adjust communication style accordingly to the audience.
  • Ability to tactfully handle and resolve issues and follow up accordingly.
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary.

Experience: Two years of professional, service-related work experience with a consumer brand, agency, sports property, or venue strongly preferred.Sales and service experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: Position may require travel to external events and meetings.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. In addition to working office hours staff may be required to work Timberwolves and Lynx games as well as external events including but not limited to: charity and networking events. Work is both sedentary and active in nature. The working environment is generally favorable, and office lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently sit, stand, walk, and ascend and descend bleachers/steps in the arena. Staff may occasionally move boxes of merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds.
