We're looking for a person who will drive thought-provoking conversations and collaboration between SentinelOne customers around the world. About the Role:

SentinelOne is looking for a Community Manager to help manage our presence in online communities that are likely to influence key stakeholders in SentinelOne’s sales opportunities. While there are many aspects to this role, the ultimate goal of the program will be to maintain and innovate our GitHub Community – optimizing it for code collaboration.

We are searching for an individual who will support and collaborate on a wide range of community engagement initiatives such as moderation, repository maintenance, the monitoring of social communities like Reddit or Spiceworks, as well as other code-sharing communities like npmJS, Docker Hub, PyPI and others. You must be organized, possess exceptional communication skills, able to work cross-functionally, and keep up-to-date on all industry news.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that SentinelOne is portrayed in a positive, authentic way as an ethical provider of reliable, effective and scalable security solutions
  • Ensure that technical stakeholders will find that the materials in these communities confirm SentinelOne attributes
  • Encourage positive participation by employees, partners, and customers
  • Ensure clear policies are communicated for employee participation, spot check that these policies are actually followed, and encourage correction
  • Moderate contributions and own overall quality: Repository lifecycle, licensing, and attribution
  • Ensure that contributed projects meet reasonable expectations in regard to code quality, documentation quality, and overall usability and utility
  • Review specific open source projects to provide interfaces creating value for our customers and SentinelOne
  • Implement operational strategies that are designed to increase engagement and quantity of members within the community
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends/content/topics surrounding S1, cybersecurity, and endpoint management

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of work experience at an enterprise software company
    • 1+ years of customer community management experience is a plus (general customer marketing, customer support or customer success experience also a bonus)
  • Experience as a community manager, content creator, product owner, technical writer, or similar in a technical capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with internal teams and external customers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a sense of urgency and timeliness in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic and creative thinker with well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills
