We are looking for a Director of Strategic Merchandising to build and manage a strategic

merchandising function. You’ll have the opportunity to build from the ground up as you transform

an ad-hoc process into a world class sourcing organization. You will have additional

opportunities to broaden your responsibilities as you successfully drive results.

Reporting into the Vice President, Partner Management & Strategy, you will be joining a team of

passionate, relationship driven professionals who excel by prioritizing ruthlessly, testing

relentlessly, celebrating rapid iteration, and supporting one another.

What you'll do:

  • Build a category strategy and management approach that aligns with and supports Fullscript’s broader supplier strategy
  • Gain a deep understanding of the Fullscript product portfolio, brand partner relationships and market landscape
  • Develop a category structure and prioritize products within each category
  • Build product positioning strategies within each category
  • Optimize Fullscript’s product portfolio to align with category strategy through rationalization and identification of product gaps
  • Perform analytics and gather business insights in support of merchandising strategy and our supplier partner management team
  • Determine resource requirements through an ROI driven business case and recruit and build team accordingly
  • Work closely with our supplier partner management, medical education, commercial and technology teams as a key driver of our influencer strategy
  • Drive value creation through merchandising initiatives while strengthening our supplier relationships

What you bring to the table:

  • At least five years experience in strategic merchandising or category management
  • Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen, as well as a strategic mindset
  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self starting attitude with ability to be a “player coach”
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • A strong desire grow and learn with demonstrated leadership potential
  • BSc degree / MBA preferred
  • A strong desire to be part of a mission drive business
