About The Job
Are you a results-driven Content Marketing Manager who wants to make a difference in society? If you are, You.com has an exciting opportunity on its Marketing team for you. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. The critical area of focus is driving product revenue growth by creating and managing content initiatives, ensuring brand consistency, and engaging with users across channels. He/she/they will collaborate and support the Sr—Director of Marketing, communications, engineering, and product teams. The goal is to build out organic growth engines and develop content strategies that optimize the revenue potential of You.com by connecting organizations to the audiences that will benefit them the most.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's content marketing strategy, including creating and distributing engaging, original content across multiple channels to drive brand growth and product adoption.
- Conduct potential audience research, develop segments of potential users, and evaluate trends.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design and communications, to develop case studies, videos, blogs, email, and social media content.
- Achieve highly effective channel performance across various organic, free, and paid media channels.
- Find incremental opportunities for growth, including new channels, partners, affiliates, and audiences.
- Manage existing and new content partnerships and influencer commitments.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure consistency of strategy and creativity across channels.
- Report and analyze content performance and optimize initiatives based on feedback and data-driven insights.
- Regularly track, analyze and create reports on the performance of each marketing channel and campaign.
- Identify the right customer segments to target through appropriate communication channels, showcasing key benefits, and executing proper conversion mechanics.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive traffic and engagement to our blog and website.
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, preferably in marketing or business
- 5 years of content marketing experience, preferably in B2C or tech space
- 3 years experience in managing marketing personnel and budgets
- Familiarity with the freemium business model but not mandatory; commitment to the technological sector is essential.
- Experience with web analytics, social media, email, and paid media channels
- Deep understanding of conversion funnels and marketing KPIs
- Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimization
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without skipping a beat
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Team player and problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested
- Be entrepreneurial, scrappy, analytical, and obsessed with refining your craft
