Senior Product Manager
The Black Tux is reinventing the formalwear rental industry so people can show up at their best on the days that matter most. We design and manufacture modern rental suits and tuxedos that actually fit—made of wool, ordered online, and delivered for free.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to make our website experience best-in-class. You’ll lead critical initiatives to grow conversion, party building, and order value with an experience users love.
You’ll regularly collaborate with design, engineering, data, and marketing teams to prioritize and execute against a roadmap that delivers measurable impact. On any given day, you may be identifying insights, building a business case, developing an a/b concept and test, giving design feedback, or scoping efforts with the engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Lead initiatives within the ‘website experience’ pod. Champion, contribute to, and execute against the product roadmap. Ensure we deliver a seamless and best-in-class site experience that works beautifully for our customers and our business.
- Ruthlessly prioritize what to do - and what not to do
- Be curious and creative! Unearth opportunities that help move the needle. Dive into our data to inform smart, targeted product development.
- Manage a talented cross-functional pod of designers and engineers. Align the team with agile ceremonies and crisp communication of context, priorities, status, results. Own, maintain, and evolve the backlog based on the latest insights and business objectives.
- Write product requirements to craft new site functionality and features
- Monitor and report on website health, using Amplitude and Tableau.
- Report to our Head of Product Management, Website Experience
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management in a consumer-facing role, launching successful products and features.
- Expert in executing and coordinating large-scale product initiatives across a cross-functional team
- Rigorous, self-driven, and energized by breadth. Initiatives will range across the website, from our creator (eg groom) to participant (eg groomsmen) experiences.
- Love attention to detail, are organized, and able to track parallel deadlines while maintaining focus and quality
- Analytical problem solver. Consistent track record of understanding and communicating user needs, and creating products that solve them with impactful results
- Effective presenter to key stakeholders, while also having a technical understanding and ability to collaborate closely with engineers
- High EQ and ability to work with different people across the organization with honesty and compassion
- BA/BS degree

The Senior Product Manager role is remote.
The base salary for this position will be $140,000 - $160,000, but the actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location. The Black Tux defines compensation plans using market data aligned with comparable companies at a similar stage and size as ours.
This position also qualifies incentive based compensation which may include a performance based bonus and/or incentive stock options. The Black Tux also offers unlimited PTO on top of generous company holidays, including a winter break at the end of each year.
