About the role:
Liquid I.V. is looking for a meticulous, detail-obsessed, and incredibly thorough candidate to join the Public Relations division of the Marketing Department. Reporting to Liquid I.V.’s Senior Public Relations Manager, this person will play a key role within the Public Relations team to coordinate and align communications activities withing multiple PR arms at Liquid I.V. and other company department initiatives.
Being result-driven and “hands on” is critical to the candidate’s success. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and creative thinking.
The Associate Manager of Public Relations has a brain for quick problem solving, a penchant for details, and a passion for storytelling.
Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:
- Work closely with Liquid I.V.’s public relations agency on record for day-to-day communications, asset distribution, scheduling of calls and/or meetings across departments, sample management, prepping of assets for interviews and any other associated needs.
- Work with Sr. PR Manager to create and implement strategies, press releases and curated pitching for new product launches and major initiatives as well as strategic press plans for each region.
- Administrative duties include tracking timelines, asset development, filing all received and developed assets, and keeping detailed records of calls and meetings.
- Maintain relationships with editors, publicists, agents, etc. for potential awareness opportunities both paid and unpaid
- Excellent follow-through and timely communication skills to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Support in all aspects of organization and execution from a PR standpoint for activations and/or events: invitee list approval, interview requests, shot lists, run of show, etc.
- Meet regularly with cross-functional teams (Impact, Sustainability, Social Media, Influencer, Partnerships) to have a full understanding of new product launches, timelines, and departmental initiatives so that PR amplification strategy can be seamless and meaningful.
- Meet often with Unilever teams to understand the most effective ways to support upcoming initiatives or spot opportunities for potential partnerships across the Health & Wellbeing Collective or Unilever as a whole.
- Have thorough knowledge of brand PR but be open and willing to learn and support on crisis, corporate, internal, and VIP relations.
- Be available to travel as needed for activations, events, and speaking engagements involving other Liquid I.V. team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, with a minimum of 3-4 years of brand public relations experience at an agency.
- A background in fashion or beauty editorial PR and/or knowledge of Influencer relations, VIP seeding and events.
- Highly organized and time efficient, able to prioritize workflow and multitask across multiple projects at once.
- A strong interest and understanding of brand PR, Influencer, VIP
- Exceptional communications and people skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, trustworthy, a team player, flexible and professional.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- A resourceful problem solver who works well under pressure and in a fast-paced hypergrowth start-up environment.

Work Environment:
- Office environment with flexibility for industry events.
The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
