Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a part-time Social Ambassador Coordinator for the San Francisco Giants Ambassador & Influencer Program. In this role you will work to define, develop and execute the Giants Ambassador (Influencer) Marketing strategy for both baseball and non-baseball events. The individual will focus on increasing Giants Marketing efforts and brand equity through specific campaign efforts through our Influencer network.

The ideal candidate will be multifaceted with a strong passion for sports marketing, who understands both the Influencer space and can drive efficient performance efforts to develop and evaluate our strategy. Our ideal candidate will serve as the connection to Ambassadors and will manage those relationships and communications accordingly. Administering and overseeing hospitality events plus online and offline activations will also be managed by the candidate.

What You Will Work On

You will be a part of an exciting and new effort to lead and help develop the Giants Influencer/Ambassador program and to define the seasonal and long-term plans that will serve the needs of the Giants Marketing Department. You will work alongside and report to the Promotions, Social Media and Advertising leads within the broader Marketing Department.

You Will

  • Host Ambassadors at Oracle Park by developing events, coordinating dates, obtaining and distributing tickets and securing hospitality, helping to ensure that Ambassadors depart each experience with increased connectivity to the Giants
  • Serve as the day of game Point of Contact and Host for Ambassadors as they attend Giants Home Games, select community events and potential road games
  • Assist in defining expectations from various Ambassadors and the associated ROI
  • Help identify and connect with local Ambassadors, based off of shared data points that promote audience growth and engagement
  • Support and provide insight into college student, college athlete and Gen Z influencer program
  • Facilitate distribution of promotional items to Ambassadors and media outlets in advance of event dates
  • Execute ROI-based Influencer campaigns, while helping build scalable campaigns that support key Giants Marketing campaigns and important events, including Opening Day, Promotions/Special Events, Community Celebrations, Team Reunions, Anniversaries and more
  • Help define and construct Ambassador strategy to support key company initiatives related to some of the Giants larger Promotional & Community Days; Giants Annual Pride Day, Fiesta Gigantes, African American Heritage, Bay Area Hip-Hop Days, Local College Days, Girls Day and other Cultural Heritage Days
  • Manage existing portfolio of Ambassadors across our Marketing & Event calendars, matching Ambassadors to the appropriate opportunities while continuing to contribute to the growth and expansion of the collective database
  • Deliver reports regularly on KPIs and campaign results
  • Identify and suggest new ways to innovate and enhance our Influencer marketing approach, staying on top of the latest trends
  • Work alongside Events, Social and Advertising leads to review success of campaigns and overall efforts

Who You Will Work With

You will work alongside and report to at least three members of the Marketing Department who oversee the area of Advertising, Social Media and Promotions & Special Events.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of related experience in the Influencer Marketing field
  • A strong understanding of the role influencers play in generating brand awareness and audience growth, while coordinating the efforts of cross-functional team
  • Understanding of the collegiate NIL program
  • A highly organized and focused multitasker with strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated track record of building talent development campaigns and delivering value
  • Vast knowledge of social media platforms
  • Experience in campaign management
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
