We are seeking a growth marketing manager experienced in scaling email outreach as a key acquisition tool and comfortable experimenting with a range of other channels and tools at a high velocity. This is a new role, and we’re excited for a goal-oriented impact-creator to lead this function with key experience and startup energy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute cold email marketing campaigns that support our company's growth goals and objectives, including user acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Own end-to-end execution of cold email marketing campaigns, including planning, scheduling, testing, optimizing, and analyzing campaigns for maximum performance and deliverability improvement.
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance using analytics tools and provide insights to optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency of messaging and campaign execution across all marketing channels.
- Develop and implement segmentation strategies to deliver targeted messaging to specific user groups.
- Build and manage email marketing automation workflows to increase engagement and drive conversions, including new user onboarding emails, automated emails for inbound leads, and email campaigns to convert warm leads.
- Build and track marketing budget and tooling/resource needs.
- Lead content creation and social media strategy.
- Ideate and create new giving circles, landing pages, and ads.
- Experiment with new acquisition channels, tools, and tactics, prioritizing different experiment ideas to run and track outcomes against goals.
- Work with the community team to provide marketing support for the community members and to drive community-led growth
- Work with the product team to help identify and lead product led growth experiments
- Manage lead identification and marketing support team members.
Qualities of a successful candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated success in scaling cold email marketing campaigns for early-stage startups, focusing on deliverability and conversions.
- Experience in lead identification and qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing compelling email copy.
- In-depth understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Proficiency with email marketing automation tools such as Apollo, Sendgrid, Reply.io, HubSpot, and Customer.io.
- Proficiency with lead generation tools such as Evaboots, Zerobounce, Sales Navigator, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or Amplitude.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The target salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, benefits, and a remote working environment with occasional in-person team work sessions and gatherings. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, and other relevant business considerations.
