We are looking to add a highly motivated Marketing & PR Specialist for Viral Nation who is passionate about the creator economy and marketing campaigns to support our talent agency division. You will be responsible for supporting and executing public relations opportunities for our talent, managing media relationships, and supporting & coordinating marketing campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and tactics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think creatively.

What you'll do here:

Talent PR

  • Manage relationship with our external publicist to secure press for our talent.
  • Develop targeted PR campaigns for new talent ventures
  • Facilitate inbound PR requests for talent
  • Coordinate Non-Paid Partnership & Collaboration opportunities for Talent
  • Coordinate new casting, experience & hospitality opportunities for talent in collaboration with VN's PR & Concierge Agencies
  • Coordinate internal resources and oversee logistics for specific talent activations (PR, TV, photography, digital/social, glam, etc.)
  • Coordinate & support marketing campaign plans for talent-owned ventures
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to track the success of PR campaigns
  • Assist with crisis communication and issues management

Corporate Marketing

  • Support Internal PR & Marketing execute marketing campaigns across various channels including email, social media, and print.
  • Identify & Track community and industry event, lists & award submissions
  • Assist with planning Viral Nation's presence at major industry events and owned initiatives including creative and promotional requirements at events, communications, updates and scheduling & travel logistics.
  • Support pitching & coordinating speaking opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as content marketing and social media on talent needs
  • Maintain promo materials & asset library
  • Coordinate talent gifting logistics
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as talent agents & business development to ensure we have the most up-to-date insights on our clients.
  • Support the wider marketing team with larger experiential & go-to-market initiatives.

General

  • Stay on top of trends in the social media & influencer marketing space
  • Ensure timely and continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders during projects
  • Maintain detailed Task tracking, follow-up, and deadline management for campaigns, and branding projects
  • Consistently consider process development and optimization for talent marketing operations.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a PR or Marketing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with media contacts
  • Experience creating and distributing press releases and other PR materials
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR & Marketing strategies
  • A deep understanding of & appetite for digital culture & the creator economy
