General Summary

The Marketing Director role requires a strategic thinker with a digital first attitude, experienced in consumer brand management, channel management, social media, content creation, content distribution and PR.

The individual will be directly responsible for developing and implementing brand strategy, seasonal launch and go-to-market plans, executing tactical marketing programs, launch activities, events and promotions. The Marketing Director will coordinate internal marketing communication, develop and manage annual & seasonal budgets and work closely with the product develop and sales management teams.

Essential Job Functions

•Develop and implement annual/seasonal launch strategies and go-to-market plans

•Develop, implement and measure digital marketing programs through multiple channels including web, search, social, email and mobile

•Drive the creation and distribution of content in support of the overall digital marketing effort

•Develop and manage annual and seasonal budgets

•Plan and execute comprehensive marketing communication and public relations programs

•Plan and execute photo shoots, models, hair & make up for both studio and lifestyle shoots.

•Plan and execute events and promotions in support of launch and go-to-market strategies

•Develop brand partnerships/collaborations negotiating terms, executing contracts, managing relationships and other business requirements

•Work closely with Product Development and Sales Management teams to align launch and go-to-market strategies

•Work with sales and associated management on tradeshows, sales meeting and other internal activities as required

•Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, digital marketing communications and public relations, and use this information to help the brand operate with initiative and innovation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•Ability to think strategically and be executional

•Ability to think creatively, analytically and strategically in applied problem solving

•Strong understanding of business

•Strong experience and understanding in core consumer marketing

•Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross functional teams, including the sales and design.

•Strong communication skills are imperative

•Excellent budget management skills required

•Innovator with the ability to influence staff and management at all levels (Internally and externally)

•A self-starter, someone who is capable asserting their ideas, making decisions and sharing feedback

•Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe and project management platforms such as Wrike or Asana

Required Education and Experience

•Bachelors or equivalent degree

•Minimum 5 years marketing experience, either in a leading consumer marketing organization or entrepreneurial operation

Our Hybrid positions are expected to be in-office 1-3 days per week. Hybrid schedules may fluctuate at the discretion of the manager, department, or company.

Physical Requirements

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
