Overview
We’re looking for a marketer who is passionate about the art and science of content marketing and the power it holds for today’s brands. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to develop integrated content strategies and assets that drive brand awareness, generate demand, lead buyers down the funnel, and support customer and partner success.
As a key member of our content team, you’ll pair a strategic mindset with your innate ability to concept, develop and curate compelling content that supports the buying journey and customer lifecycle while positioning Mitel as a thought leader in business communications. You’ll use your passion for storytelling and sharp project management skills to partner with internal and external subject matter experts to lead and produce unique integrated content that furthers our brand, solution and demand generation programs.
Responsibilities
Position
- Establish and maintain a strong understanding of Mitel’s corporate positioning and solution/product offerings to drive a compelling message and consistent tone
- Build and evangelize message boards and positioning strategies for key marketing initiatives
- Edit materials for other teams and departments as needed to ensure content conveys consistent tone, positioning, and relevance while being grammatically correct and optimized for search
Create
- Partner with Mitel campaign architects to build robust multi-touch demand and nurture campaigns
- Plan, author and curate content such as eBooks, white papers, blogs, infographics, email campaigns, webinars, and more to support campaign initiatives
- Plan and oversee development of multimedia content such as video, social or other strategies, including project management, scripting and collaborating on the creative process
- Develop concise yet compelling digital content for Mitel’s web site and supporting campaign initiatives
- Propose creative ways to “slice-and-dice” content into multiple assets so that each piece delivers more value and increases consistency of message
Manage
- Manage relationships with outside firms and/or industry experts to increase content throughput or elevate subject matter expertise; serve as the project lead for asset development to ensure positioning, creative, budgetary and deadline requirements are met
- Work with international teams to align global content strategies and translation/localization needs
- Drive consistent, integrated promotion of new content pieces across internal and external channels
- Measure and report on content effectiveness; recommend and implement strategies for optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience
- Previous experience with B2B content marketing strategies such as blogging, video, influencer marketing, and multi-touch campaigns
- Clear, engaging writing style with ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Strong ideation skills and a willingness to experiment
- Proven project management skills
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Collaborative and energetic personality
- Confidence interacting with cross-functional teams of all levels
- Proven experience working in a metrics-driven marketing environment, and comfort with analytics that provide insight and accountability to content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality materials on budget and deadline

Base Pay range in United States
$68,000 yr - $86,000 yr
