What will you do

The Associate Manager, Performance Marketing and Paid Media, Social, is a high-impact role within the internal digital marketing execution team for J&J Consumer Health brands in the U.S . The role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Paid Social media plans to drive acquisition and salience of the Neutrogena brand.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performing Paid Social plans for NEUTROGENA® and AVEENO® by partnering with a roster of world-class agencies. The role will be responsible for briefing, reviewing, and sign off on media plans for owned channels from conception to launch.
  • Execute team-set strategy with media agency, and suggest improvements/iterations for existing and new campaigns, audience strategies, creative development, and test and learn agendas.
  • Refine and iterate on the established best practices around paid social marketing internally; including campaign management, optimization, reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor/partner management and billing.
  • Improving ad creative by sharing performance learnings, recommending optimizations, staying up to date on platform best practices and trends, and finding the balance between creating innovation and maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Partner with creative agencies in developing creative that lives into performance best practice and best-in-class strategy for each of the core media buying platforms.
  • Act as a representative of the Acquisition team to Brand Managers and cross-functional partners, by managing correspondence related to creative and campaign tactics.
  • Partner with Influencer agencies to plan, source, and integrate influencers into the execution of social media campaigns.
  • Lead analysis of social asset performance, provide insights and creative recommendations to broader teams.
  • Collaborate with Engagement team to driver synergies in brand equity, build consumer journey maps, and optimize the landing page experience.
  • Be an expert in ad buying features and functions within Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat.

Qualifications


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a 4-year University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in Paid Social media buying for a consumer brand
  • Must have a data-driven and creative mindset, approach media with data-first accountability and innovative paths to digital customer acquisition.
  • Driven by passion and enthusiasm for Paid Social marketing and media trends
  • Analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc. with a digital marketing best practice, ability to identify where creative and performance marketing meet to produce optimal results.
  • Experience navigating the backend of Facebook (Meta) Ads Manager, including the ability to pull data, review analytics, and glean insights.
  • Understanding of the marketing funnel, and how Paid Social can be used at various points in the consumer journey.
  • Experience with performance marketing, along with tactics for optimization and growth.
  • Familiarity with Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat ad placements/features.
  • Knowledge of KPIs most relevant to Paid social and how to optimize the campaign growth metrics
  • Self-starter with interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills to form relationships and work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams, suppliers, and agencies.
  • Effective time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and deliver on-time.
  • Able to be a great teammate and individual contributor, and willing/eager to work in a hands-on capacity with creative people.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience navigating the backend of more than one Ads Manager platform
  • Additional background and expertise in other media platforms (Search, Display, Reach)
  • Prior experience with Test and Learns, developing methodology, and creating learning agendas
  • Previous experience in beauty, skincare, or self-care


This position requires approximately 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $142,600.
