We are looking for a freelance LMS Content Creator to help us elevate our digital learning platform. This is a freelance position that is expected to last a duration of 6-12 months. The LMS Content Creator will be responsible for developing training content, creating storyboards / shot lists via LearnUpon. This person would ideally be within driving distance of our Teaneck, NJ office in order to be able to collaborate with our teams as needed.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Produce and build eLearning training modules based on new content via LearnUpon.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver eLearning content and align those programs with an overall learning outcomes strategy.
  • Identify target audience’s needs to create the most beneficial eLearning content
  • Create instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product of eLearning content.
  • Create storyboards, write eLearning content scripts, and create necessary shortlists for our video production team.
  • Ensure that the eLearning content is of high quality, engaging, and meets the learning objectives.
  • Manage the learning content on the LMS and related platforms.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing eLearning modules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Expert in writing and creating content for e-learning systems such as LearnUpon (preferred), Articulate, Captivate, etc. (Required 3 Years);
  • Expert in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro to create video-based learning materials
  • Experience with creative applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Familiar with organizational applications such as Google Drive, MS Suite, Monday.com, Trello, Asana, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of learning modalities and learning styles.
  • Ability to act as a consultant regarding Content Development methodology, standards and practices.
  • Ability to quickly analyze the impact of development changes on a content development project and adjust workload appropriately.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to software platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Education, Communications, a related field or equivalent experience.
