What Will You Be Doing?
The Social Media and Content Coordinator, Marketing will report to the Sr. Manager, Engagement Marketing and provide strategic input, content ideas, and content creation across Frontier social channels including (but not limited to) TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This role will be focused on audience building, increasing content reach, and executing the strategic goals of the Engagement marketing team. The Social Media Coordinator will participate in planning and strategic road mapping for the brand as well as support larger campaigns and initiatives through content creation, curation, partnerships, and influencer programs.
Essential Functions
- Daily monitoring of all social channels inclusive of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Research and test current trends, audience preferences, posting patterns to drive strong brand engagement across channels
- Research and prepare new ways to grow audiences across channels with the goal of getting them into Frontier loyalty programs and converting them into high lifetime value customers
- Create meaningful content that will encourage engagement across a variety of messages including promotions٫ contests٫ announcements, events, and other engagements with he Frontier brand
- Update and maintain an accurate and current content calendar for all social media platforms
- Manage, organize, and schedule content across channels while collaborating with management to ensure content is trafficked on time and accurately
- Proactively research opportunities and send outreach to branded partners in effort to grow following, encourage engagement and create positive sentiment
- Partner with customer care and escalate complaints, negative topics gaining momentum and any other issues that pop up across channels as needed in a timely matter
- Assist with brainstorming and strategy meetings to increase engagement and identify efficiencies
- Identify relevant influencers, conduct outreach, negotiate compensation, complete necessary partner contracts, review creative and copy and ensure partner fulfills contract requirements
- Create and post promotional social content that generates event attendance and captures post-event engagement
- Prepare and present analytics reports and presentations on social media and influencer marketing activities and performance.
- Partners with Frontier’s internal teams (Promotions, Creative, E-commerce, Customer Care, Corporate Communications, HR, Inflight, PRM, etc.) to align on content marketing, social execution and creative development, product messaging and promotions. Work internationally, and cross-departmentally to explore and identify ways of leveraging social media to drive awareness, advocacy and purchase intent for the brand and products
- Continue to improve Frontier’s social media management standards, policies, and rules of engagement
- Help identify and implement an optimal posting schedule that takes performance metrics into consideration for optimal engagement
- Help facilitate conversation and respond to questions, comments, and concerns across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and other channels as needed
Other Functions
- Provide input and support on cross-team projects for communication and consumer messaging
- Participate in campaign ideation and planning
- Collaborate with multiple business groups across Corp Comm, Creative, and others
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or commensurate experience
- At least 4 years’ experience with social platforms, advertising best practices, and content writing
- 1-2 years’ experience running social channels for consumer facing brands.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Familiar with social media image specs and writing best practices.
- Microsoft office product skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Must exercise sound business judgment and handle confidential information with sensitivity
- Must be a team player with ability to work on several projects at a time
