Description:

Duties: The Social Media Content Creator will work collaboratively across disciplines, including Brand, Content Marketing, Communications, Legal, and others, to create quality content across the QuickBooks branded social channels. While the focus will primarily be on producing breakthrough and customer-backed video creative for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, the work will occasionally extend to other social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for the end-to-end creative process – research trends, understand industry and customer needs, conceptualize, plan, produce, and execute on a digital content and engagement plan that elevates the QuickBooks brand, delivers for our business, drives value for our customers leveraging innovative thinking and the latest channel marketing trends. This role requires someone creative who is comfortable being in front of the camera and has experience creating and editing TikTok videos or Instagram Reels.

While this position can be remote, we''d like to find someone that is located near any Client offices should we ever need in-office content capture. Given this creator will often be featured in the video content, we''d like to make sure the creator reflects the diverse and inclusive background of our QuickBooks small business audience. A contractor who has experience running their own side hustle or small business or someone familiar with the QuickBooks product would be a bonus, while not a requirement

• Video portfolio will be required- looking for a content creator with experience in creating TikToks and Instagram Reels, so it''s helpful to see their work ahead of time.

Skills: Concepting, managing and executing social media activations, with an eye toward social-first content creation and individual social platform strengths - knowing the right message for the right channel. - Trend awareness, how the style of content and audience differs by platform, and how to insert a brand into appropriate calendar and cultural moments. Using copywriting skills and a creator-first mindset with the in-platform tools at your disposal. - Research and understand the small business audience across social media, in relation to customer and brand data. Ability to immerse into social platforms to listen to and understand the SMB community and what they''re talking about, so that Quickbooks can become an authentic part of that conversation and community. - Storytelling - creating both written and visual content (with experience shooting/editing stills and videos for posts, Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.) Ability to influence the direction of creative (working with an agency and across the team) and be a scrappy producer when needed (in line with brand guidelines.) - Communicating on social media as the voice of the brand. - Creativity - coming up with new ideas for how to connect with the small business audience using social media. - Social analytics, both running reports and analyzing them to provide recommendations. - Some social strategy experience, either in-house or agency or as a creator.
