Job Description: Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing
Reports to: Director of Brand Marketing
OVERVIEW:
Urban Outfitters is seeking an experienced marketer with a track-record for driving brand and business growth through impactful influencer marketing. The Senior Manager will manage and execute impactful influencer marketing initiatives, including ambassador programs, product seeding, and support of social creator content. This person must be able to identify and connect with key influencers, creators, and partners that represent Urban Outfitters to new and current audiences. This ideal candidate is strategic, collaborative, organized, creative and analytical with a proven track record of driving business impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support broad and specific marketing initiatives through influencer campaigns, relationship management, and campaign execution, setting goals and measurement
- Lead and continue to scale influencer efforts that drive brand consideration and sales growth
- Research and pitch relevant, on-brand influencers, ensuring all partnerships align with our brand vision and community goals, and support our brand marketing efforts.
- Partner with cross functional teams (Digital, Merchandising, Creative) to accurately communicate brand priorities and objectives to influencers.
- Develop close relationships with influencer ambassadors to maintain day-to-day communication
- Work with Creative team to ensure best practices and guidelines for content deliverables.
- Manage, evaluate, and grow a robust influencer program to ensure partners are on brand and delivering consistent and relevant messages.
- Own contract negotiation and invoicing/billing process for all influencer partnerships.
- Have knowledge of competitor programs, industry trends, and relevant media campaigns
- Create thorough influencer recap reports that include complete measurement of all campaigns to evaluate business growth and identify future opportunity.
- Oversee scheduling of influencer content to ensure brand marketing campaigns are sufficiently supported and align with activity across marketing channels.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 6-8 years of proven experience managing influencer relationships and campaigns
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team environment
- Experience evaluating and negotiating influencer contracts
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, analytics, or equivalent experience
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Travel: Some travel required
