How you’ll be impactful:

As a Marketing Intern, you will focus on growing our engaged social audience and strategy while supporting ongoing key marketing initiatives for our global media business. Our Intern will learn to develop cohesivem content strategies for various marketing channels like Email, Push Notification, Social Media, and Creator Marketing. Through these initiatives, you will make an impact that will delight and engage our users online to visit our media sites and conversions in our online shops.

Please note: Ideally, our rockstar candidate will be local to San Francisco and willing to come in office 2x/week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the audience function and be accountable for unique user and pageview targets
• Work with analytics to create tracking and reporting documents and dashboards for email, search and site growth
• Leverage the company’s Generative AI publishing platform to originate, execute and publish large content packages capable of attracting hundreds of thousands of new users per month
• Collaborate the with the company’s SEO agency to identify new content topics to build out and execute in a user-friendly manner
• Manage the company’s email newsletter strategy to increase subscriber engagement, retention and reactivation via creative development, test execution, and monitoring of results
• Develop and manage an editorial strategy for content syndication across platforms (i.e. MSN, Yahoo, SmartNews). Grow loyal audiences by partnering with new content platforms.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Entrepreneurial nature with ability to proactively take action that delivers results
• An ability to achieve audience gains by devising tests, drawing quick conclusions, building internal partnerships and working with little oversight
• Tinkerer who can become an expert prompt engineer to produce optimal content from the company’s Generative AI publishing platform and chatbot
• Past success growing website and/or mobile app traffic in a meaningful way
• A solid understanding of Google Analytics and an ability to measure the impact of internal or external changes and explain the change in clear fashion
• Experience growing audience via SEO, email newsletters and/or content syndication partnerships
• Be able to communicate with a product and engineering team, especially a front end developer
• An ability to proficiently use SEO research tools such as SEMRush to analyze keyword and website trends in order to suggest new SEO-friendly content to develop is preferred

The US base salary range for full-time position is still being determined. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
