KAYAK is seeking a Temporary Content Creator to join our North America Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to help us create engaging short-form videos across our organic social media platforms. The successful candidate is a well-rounded creator who has experience in video production and editing for social media. This is a 3-month, full-time temporary role with the opportunity to extend.

In this role, you will:

  • Produce engaging content for travelers to educate, inspire, and inform their trip planning; content that firmly establishes KAYAK as deeply knowledgeable, authentic, and relevant authorities in travel
  • Appear on-camera in short-form social videos, helping to develop and hone our unique KAYAK tone and voice
  • Plan, create, and publish daily content across TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Consistently come up with new bold and out-of-the-box ideas to move the KAYAK brand forward
  • Monitor trends in social media, travel, lifestyle/pop culture and appropriately apply that knowledge to create content
  • Participate in regular brainstorm meetings to ideate and collaborate on social-first ideas
  • Own community management, engaging with consumers and other brands with a unique pov
  • Shoot and edit short-form videos - whether in-app or editing software
  • Research SEO keywords and create video and web content optimized for search engines.
  • Forge and champion partnerships within the travel community to help build brand loyalty
  • Connect and collaborate with other content creators for UGC
  • Support other content projects as needed

Please apply if you have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency
  • In-depth knowledge of social media best practices; strong TikTok background preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with hard deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability in adapting brand voices and visual identities to videos
  • Self-directed and reliable in planning and completion of tasks
  • Ability to manage projects from ideation to production, through post-production and delivery
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
  • You love to travel and have a curiosity about humor

There are a variety of factors that go into determining an hourly range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The hourly range for this United States located role is $27.70-$39.95.
