Description

iBUYPOWER is seeking a Content Creator to join our Graphics team! As a Content Creator at iBUYPOWER, you will be part of a fast-paced team responsible for creating high-converting videos for various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Your content, style, and overall production should align with iBUYPOWER's brand to connect effectively with the target audience. This position works hand in hand with the marketing department and can be viewed as a hybrid position floating between the teams. Type of content to expect are short form, informational FAQ videos (centered around computer components), product videos, teaser videos, live content (Twitch streaming), and scripted videos. It's highly recommended you understand the PC hardware industry and are comfortable and knowledgeable about computer components. iBUYPOWER also has an in-house sister brand HYTE that may require assistance with content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate competitors and industry trends and apply them to content.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop ideas, storylines, and scripts.
  • Work with a team to produce, film, and edit videos, demonstrating proficiency in all three areas.
  • Manage deadlines and coordinate video production schedules.
  • Manage the in-house studio ensuring to stay organized and clean.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • Phone camera, DSLR, and/or Cinema Camera operating experience.
  • Comfortable using tripods, dollies, sliders, and other video equipment.
  • Ability to create stylized content and effects that cater to a "gamer" audience.
  • Have an eye to showcase product features visually with clever use of lighting and camera movements.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere(preferred), After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite Software.
  • Familiarity with Audio Editing software.
  • Knowledge of retention editing and other editing techniques (j cuts, jump cuts, cutting on action, etc).
  • Create and maintain an extensive asset collection (photo & video).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing.
  • Blog/copywriting skills are a plus.
  • On-screen Twitch streaming experience is a plus.
  • 3D modeling/animation experience is a plus.
  • PC gamer, PC building skills, or PC hardware product knowledge is a plus.
  • If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (i.e. Pfizer, Moderna), or a single-dose vaccine (i.e J&J). Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digitally completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
