Position Description
N!CK’S is in search of a Brand Manager who will add significant value to the work of managing a brand, lighting up a team environment and leading others through influence and impact. A highly motivated, curious individual; who can add imagination & fresh ideas to the brand marketing efforts; and one who brings an engaged, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to execute, with endless optimism and a desire to learn.
This position will report to the Global VP, Brand and will be responsible for the planning and execution of the company’s brand vision across channels. We have an energetic team, wearing many hats, and diving in to do whatever it takes to make the N!CK’S brand successful. Roles And Responsibilities Including, But Not Limited To
- Execute the short and long-term marketing plans and campaigns, increasing brand awareness, engagement and conversion, and communicate, track and measure progress.
- Write briefs leveraging brand strategy and knowledge of data and consumer insights to inspire effective content creation.
- Review and provide feedback on consumer facing creative and content such as ads, web content, retailer/in store marketing, e-commerce, influencer assets, press releases, PR assets.
- Manage external vendors and partners as appropriate, including the potential for initiating relationships, contract review, development of plans and following-through with accountability for results.
- Create compelling marketing sales stories for retailers, that reflect the N!CK’S differentiators, and what sets up apart from our competitors.
- As a people leader, coach and develop your direct reports, mentoring junior team members and offering training in relevant methodologies, techniques, frameworks, etc.
- In partnership with the Global VP, Brand, take a hands-on role in building and managing the Brand Marketing P&L delivering programs on time and within budget.
Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS degree in marketing or business administration.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in brand management for consumer product brand(s).
- Previous experience leading and mentoring a team.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting consumer data into a usable and effective story to support the strategic direction of the brand.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form, with strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and consumer promotions
- Experience managing budgets is necessary.
- Proven track record of actioning and executing creative briefs with clearly crafted deliverables.
- Ability to collect, analyze and derive business and/or customer insights from data.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated approach to “Acting as an Owner” – solutions-driven, cost-creative, and will leave their ego at the door to complete any task that needs to be done for the success of the team & N!CK’S.
- Proven ability to adapt positively to change.
