Training Content Creator

New Journey is currently seeking a Training Content Creator with our client in their San Francisco, CA location. This is a 6-month contract position. This role is 100% remote.

Description:

• New Journey is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Training Content Creator Role to join our client. The Ground Truth team with our client is responsible for working with Labelers around the globe to generate the data used to train our AVs. Ultimately, we ensure that when one of our vehicles sees an object, it knows what it is seeing and acts appropriately.
• This role will be responsible for managing our Google site, the 'Ground Truth Knowledge Center', where our vendors go to onboard, learn about new projects, and get answers to their questions. Managing our knowledge center includes scoping and creating new product and core skill training content, establishing workflows and best practices to keep an organized virtual space, updating historical content, and upholding a high standard for the quality of training material we produce. All of this requires speed, client orientation, and an eye for detail. As we scale, this role will help us migrate onto a Learning Management System (LMS) and will own the administration of that system.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Ground Truth Engagement Managers to understand the scope of a project, the skills required, and what kind of training will be needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define unclear concepts in a way that global learners can understand
• Create and update pages on the Ground Truth Knowledge Center quickly while maintaining a high standard for design and global learner comprehension.
• Bring historical content up to new design standards
• Design E-learning modules for core skills and certification pathways
• Participate in LMS implementation and own LMS administration once established
• Be a team player! We move fast and we're scaling at an incredible rate. Participate in 'all-hands-on-deck' projects and be willing to help out wherever needed.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience designing scalable learning content for a global audience
• Client orientation. This role is the face of ground truth training to both internal and external clients. We are looking for someone who is proactive, responsive, quick, and organized.
• Familiarity with global english and technical training best practices
• Knowledge of basic instructional design principles such as Bloom's Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model
• Experience working with Articulate360 Rise or other content authoring tool
• Experience with basic media editing (video editing, image editing, GIF creation etc.)
• Experience maintaining a knowledge base or wiki
• Experience administering a LMS and familiarity with best practices
• A passion for learning! Not only will you be training others but you'll learn something new every week, teaching yourself as you go. We're looking for someone who is ready to embrace the unknown, and make it known!

Range: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range is subject to change.
