We're looking for the next Sr. Events Manager who will support the company's strategic plan for dynamic event programs including digital, traditional events, creator content offsites and experiential campaign-driven experiences! This role will develop compelling, creative, and engaging events and experiences which will drive comprehension of Viral Nations across our solution and services groups, deepen brand love, support topline brand awareness and drive growth and lead generation. This person will know how to own an event from concept to execution and drive all aspects of event implementation. Must be an excellent negotiator and organizer. You will work cross-functionally with key collaborators within the organization including Design/Creative Services, Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, Finance and PR/Comms. This person will be able to think creatively and contribute big ideas while completing the tactics.

What you'll do here:

  • Develop and execute event strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Work with various internal teams and external partners to plan, execute, and evaluate events.
  • Plan, execute & evaluate innovative end-to-end event experiences and programs on a global scale, working with cross-functional team members including regional teams, communication, sales, brand/creative, senior management, sales and others to deliver impactful event experiences.
  • Manage the budget for each event, ensuring that expenses are tracked and reported accurately
  • Lead the event planning process from conception to execution, including communication strategies/registration, event tech, creative/brand, travel management, vendor management, event logistics, and post-event follow-up.
  • Oversee the 360 marketing strategy for each event, ensuring we have both a strong digital & in-person presence.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, including the RFP process
  • Develop timelines, detailed project plans, and thoughtfully planned workstreams; act as the single source of truth for all team members throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on event progress and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Outline business impact metrics based on the goals outlined for each experience. Translate post-event analytics and data into reports for leadership and recommendations for future events.
  • Develop and maintain vendor & external partners relationships including the RFP process, negotiating contracts and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, latest innovations and best practices to ensure that our events are innovative and impactful

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in event management, with at least 3 years of experience in a senior management role
  • Proven track record of planning and executing a wide variety of successful digital, hybrid, and in-person events.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, vendors and team members at all skill levels of the org.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and problem solver with the ability to develop and execute event strategies that align with company goals
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage event budgets effectively.
  • Creative and innovative thinking with a willingness to try new things, iterate and learn.
  • Experience working with on a wide variety of events including but not limited to US tradeshows, experiential activations, hospitality lounges, award ceremonies, parties etc.
  • Willingness to travel & work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
