The Influencer Marketing Intern will contribute to growing MERIT's community, engagement and reach across all digital social platforms. They will find new influencers across social media to partner with, ensuring every interaction is positive and represents MERIT's values. They're also incredible communicators that can rapidly handle issues with shipping or email, and are self-sufficient problem solvers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact potential influencer leads to join our program
  • Build and establish long term relationships with relevant influencers, editors and stylists
  • Respond to all inbound and outbound inquiries about representing the brand

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in influencer marketing, PR, brand or customer service preferred
  • A strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and blogs
  • The ability to make qualitative and quantitative judgements to determine brand alignment and potential for high numeric engagement
  • Effective communicate skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to keep all interactions positive and productive
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge and a passion for the influencer community
  • This is a part-time, Summer Internship. The hourly rate is $20.00. Candidates should be expected to dedicate 23-26 hours during the week for the duration of the internship.
