Marketing & Social Media Associate

Roadtrip Nation is looking to hire a Marketing & Social Media Associate to drive all things social, engagement, and storytelling.

The Marketing & Social Media Associate will collaborate with many teams to be a key content creator of marketing assets and key project initiatives. You’ll help us develop brand awareness and promotional campaigns to help grow an engaged audience, all while monitoring and reporting on data and results. The ideal candidate is a person who lives, breathes, and loves all things social media. In addition, they’ll be well versed in marketing and content creation and have a creative eye, strong writing skills, and data-driven mindset.

This position is a hybrid in-office and remote role with regular access needed to our Costa Mesa, CA office.

What does a typical day in this position look like?

• Creating content for our social media channels and engaging with our followers as an active voice and face of the company.
• Coordinating and supporting Marketing & Event department campaigns, community-outreach, promotions, etc.
• Brainstorming, creating, and scheduling content for social media channels, our blog, and other content marketing channels.
• Analyzing and producing reports on key metrics. Facilitating A/B testing, segmentation, and audience building.
• Researching digital trends and the broader industry landscape to continually improve and innovate Roadtrip Nation’s content.

What will set me up for success in this role?

• Strong understanding of current practices in social media and advertising
• Strong technical and data capabilities.
• Passion for creating social media content and bringing innovations to the table, especially short-form video platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• A marketing mindset
• Working knowledge of social platforms, content creation, and scheduling tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
• At least 2 years of experience working in marketing and/or social media
• Hands-on brand social media management and creation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field, a plus
