ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Director of Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in driving website traffic and conversions through the creation of compelling campaigns. You will be responsible for shaping and executing our brand voice across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. Additionally, you will lead a team of social media marketing experts, overseeing their responsibilities in influencer management, user-generated content (UGC) strategies, community management, and social ads management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as the E-Commerce, Creative, and Marketing teams, will be essential to deliver outstanding results. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that differentiate our medical scrubs company from the competition. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller, leveraging creativity and analytics skills to engage our target audience, drive brand awareness, customer loyalty, and foster business growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to engage and grow customer outreach and social media revenue across all Social Media channels, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Create comprehensive marketing plans to boost brand image, increase customer engagement and improve conversions.
- Responsible for developing creative, engaging content that brings the Uniform Advantage Brands (https://www.uniformadvantage.c... and https://www.chefuniforms.com/) to life through all relevant social media channels.
- Manage the social community management team responsible for ensuring responses to customer comments and emails; and that customer support is responding to messages.
- Analyze, recommend, and develop strategic and tactical changes that drive business revenue and profitability by increasing visitors, improving conversion rates, capturing larger average order sizes, and managing margin performance.
- Track the social media campaigns’ key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management.
- Hire and supervise talented creatives, including Freelance Writers, Graphic Designers, and Content Creators, and coordinate their activities to achieve social media campaign objectives.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and track performance metrics to ensure maximum ROI.
- Keep abreast of marketing trends, competition, and opportunities in the marketplace.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- BS/BA Degree - Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication
- 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Highly creative with a passion for storytelling and developing innovative marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their advertising capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media campaigns that drive business results.
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is a plus.
- Experience with social media management tools: Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Mavrck.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, solid Excel skills
- Project Management (Utilize Workfront/Attask)
- Organization skills: ability to manage time, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete all assigned tasks.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, detail and deadline-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.

HYBRID – The Best of Both Worlds
Have the flexibility to work on-site/in the business and remotely during the week. You’ll spend a few days a week in our office for collaboration/in-person engagement and have the flexibility to work from home on other days. While on-site, join other team members in the spacious Quad for lunch, take a break in the Jumpstart Java, our gourmet coffee bar, or enjoy the wellness equipment and our other ongoing wellness activities.
