WE ARE ACERO

Responsible for serving as the organization’s primary brand manager, designer, creator and curator of marketing strategies and materials to support Acero Schools educational services and marketing/communication efforts, the Marketing Specialist generates creative ideas and campaigns to convey brand messages and improve brand awareness. The Marketing Specialist will serve as the primary team leader in developing and executing marketing plans to support initiatives like raising brand awareness, achieving enrollment targets and maximizing parent engagement.

  • Develop and execute ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Project manage content development and advertising/marketing support for planned events.
  • Develop and design graphic and marketing material for enrollment, promotional and operational needs.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with External Affairs colleagues, school-based leaders and functional teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (e.g. social media, e-mail, websites, advertisements, etc.).
  • Analyze and provide executive-level reporting regarding marketing initiatives (e.g. data analytics, campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Assist with daily graphic design needs related to the network and schools.
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan, and other duties, as assigned.
  • Believe in our ability to create the future we envision.
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Two to four years of demonstrated expertise, through portfolio work, in graphic design and use of design software.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), MS Office and web analytics applications.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication, writing and data analytics skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (required).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The nature of the work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files, and an ability to communicate and exchange information. Physical demands include the ability to stand, bend, reach high and low, stoop, and walk around the classroom 60% of the day. In addition, candidates must be able to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20 lbs. for short periods of time, and walk up and down stairs several times a day.

Majority of work is performed in a general office environment. Position requires availability for extended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform job duties. Also requires participation and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings.
