Social Media Content Creator - Instagram/TikTok (Contract)

Why we need you

We’re looking for two Content Creators to help with creating Instagram and TikTok videos! There’s no shortage of ideas when it comes to what’s possible with your Glowforge, and we’re looking for someone who is excited about bringing those ideas to life - all in less than 90 seconds.

We need to get the word out about Glowforge, and you know how to create eye-catching and fun content that people can’t help but share.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Creating socially-native video content to be posted on Glowforge’s TikTok and/or Instagram accounts that shows what’s possible with a Glowforge
• Printing creations on a Glowforge and filming the process from end-to-end
• Research on trends and video best practices for TikTok and/or Instagram
• Collaborating with in-house social media team to incorporate feedback and ideas into social media video content
• Attending weekly meetings to share learnings and discuss upcoming content plans

As a strong candidate, you probably have these qualifications:

• You create world-class social media video content that your followers absolutely love (and you’ve got the engagement rate to prove it!)
• You’re a social media trend addict and you’ve probably caught yourself singing the corn kid song more times than you’d like to admit.
• With a cell phone and some good lighting, you can do it all.
• You've got a strong intuitive sense for how to put together a strong social media asset.
• You know what your followers love, but you’re constantly trying out the newest transitions and trends to get them excited.
• You’re always participating in the latest video trends and memes
• Exceptional organization skills and time management
• Ability to follow directions and ask questions when things are unclear
• Enjoys interacting with others to achieve ambitious and positive results

Job summary:

$20 per hour

15 - 20 hours a week

Contract from June 2023 to December 2023 ( possibility to extend)

We’ll provide: Filming equipment, a Glowforge printer and materials
