Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will need a passion for memes, a curious approach to social media, and an affinity for the latest and greatest trends in digital technologies, esports & content creator communities and social platforms.
Excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and being a team player is a must-have.
Additionally, you should have a strategic approach to social, know how to maximize a prime social opportunity but also have a forward-thinking outlook to research new topics and develop a pipeline of content. Furthermore, you need great attention to detail, ability to adhere to deadlines, and the creative adaptability to tailor content to the needs of each social platform.
- Create engaging content on all Razer social channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Tiktok with the goal of channel growth and engagement
- Ability to write witty, engaging copy ideal for social media post
- Be updated with the latest trends, memes, industry happenings and integrate them into compelling content
- Support in developing an ongoing content calendar and detailed social media in support of marketing goals and funnels across all social channels in collaboration with Global Marketing/Product Team/Esports team
- Closely monitor & operate social media channels and consistently evaluate, what posts are successful to optimize content
- Use effective time management skills to adjust and prioritize different tasks associated with social media management
- Have excellent communication skills in order to explain concepts and propose content strategies
- Identify unique opportunities for social engagement as they arise, and propose micro-campaigns to take advantage.
- Conduct post-performance analysis and reporting to optimize social content towards growth and engagement goal
Pre-Requisites
- BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or PR
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English is a must and (favorably) an additional second language
- Strong writing and social media content creation skills
- Great communication and influence skills, as well as experience in educating others on social media best practices
- Understanding of social media best practices, online marketing, and engagement techniques
- Organized with project management and follow-through skills
- Experience in the use of social media management and analytical tools/software & editorial content calendaring
Good To Have
- Experience in building and managing social media accounts for a brand.
- Knowledge in Software like Adobe Photoshop, PHPBB, HTML5 & CSS
- Knowledge and experience in Product Marketing
