We’re hiring for a dynamic position that will allow you to contribute your skillset to an excellent cause! We are seeking a highly creative and driven Social Media Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and visually appealing content for a variety of social media platforms. The role will involve working closely with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with our mission and resonates with our target audience. Experience in a nonprofit or service environment is beneficial, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Create, curate and manage engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with our mission and storytelling/fundraising campaigns.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure that our content is relevant and engaging.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of our content and make data-driven decisions.
- Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns throughout the year.
- Attend in-person events on a weekly basis and capture dynamic content to tell the story of our operations, people, and mission in action.
Qualifications
- Must be based in Philadelphia, PA and have reliable transportation.
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience creating video content, with a focus on dynamic storytelling .
- Excellent editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Receptive to feedback.
- Proven ability to measure the effectiveness of social media content.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Educational background in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator is a plus.
