Position Overview:

The Media Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and measuring paid media campaigns in support of Mosquito Joe, a Neighborly brand. The ideal candidate is well-rounded and digitally savvy, with a strong understanding of the latest trends in marketing and advertising. They will work with the Marketing Account Manager, as well as other subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and agency partners, to define and execute media programs that drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Account Manager and Direct Marketing Team to develop and implement paid media strategies across a variety of channels, including direct mail, paid search, display, paid video, paid social advertising, and other online and offline ad strategies.
  • Develop and maintain evergreen digital advertising programs that drive sales for franchise locations, with a focus on optimizing performance and meeting KPI targets.
  • Support Local Performance Marketing team and other brand stakeholders on key media programs and concepts, including piloting in test markets, implementing across the franchise system, and optimizing.
  • Lead agency partners in the execution of franchisee paid media programs.
  • Measure and report performance of paid media campaigns while also identifying opportunities for improvement/development on a regular basis.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing Account Manager, educate internal stakeholders and franchisees on areas of paid media through webinars, tutorials and other documentation.
  • Perform keyword research (discovery and expansion), review and editing of creative copy, review and analysis of website performance metrics, and optimization of campaigns.
  • Ensure that all creative meets Mosquito Joe's brand standards, including the use of colors, fonts, images, and overall messaging.
  • Proactively monitors competitor activities and stays abreast of current marketing trends, such as the use of social media, artificial intelligence, and influencer marketing.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; Marketing, Business, Communication, Advertising, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of work experience in marketing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with web analytics tools and digital platforms including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and social media tools is a plus.
