Job Description

Misfits is jumping headfirst into game development as the company reaches new heights of interactive entertainment for the next generation! We seek an experienced Brand Manager to join our game studios leadership team. You will ensure our brand, games, and experiences reach as many players as possible. By leveraging your skills and expertise in marketing and access to our in-house influencer muscle, we have unparalleled reach for an organization our size. You will also be instrumental in building out our core marketing functions for traditional channels working across PR, product, sales, creative, and external marketing agencies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage our game brand strategies to maximize brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to deeply understand our games, audience, and market positioning.
  • Work with Marketing and Creative teams to develop brand guidelines, ensuring consistent brand voice, visuals, and messaging across all channels and marketing materials.
  • Oversee the development and execution of brand campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external agencies or partners.
  • Manage relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders to extend the brand's reach.
  • Monitor and report on brand performance, customer feedback, and ROI, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Develop and manage the brand's budget, allocating resources strategically for maximum impact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in brand management, preferably in the video game industry.
  • Shipped at least one AA/AAA game on PC, Console, or Mobile
  • Strong understanding of the video game market and gamer behavior.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful brand strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to brand strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Creativity and innovation, with a passion for the gaming industry.

This full-time position has the flexibility to be remote or based in Boca Raton, FL. If remote, the individual hired is expected to travel to the HQ in Boca Raton quarterly.
