The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to help our existing customers and partners leverage the full power of Thunkable. In this role, you will be working hand-in-hand with our clients, enabling them to create and publish custom mobile apps and maximize the value they achieve with Thunkable. In addition to working directly with clients throughout their journey with Thunkable, you will share insights from client interactions with other teams to improve the overall experience for all Thunkable customers. The role will encompass developing and facilitating trainings and workshops with clients, providing strategic consulting to help clients reach and exceed their goals with Thunkable, and building out self-serve resources to help accelerate the app-building process for clients.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, optimize, and deliver client onboarding trainings
  • Provide technical product guidance to clients on how they can reach their app development objectives and maximize value with Thunkable
  • Be a product expert in Thunkable and the no-code/ low-code mobile app development ecosystem in order to provide best-in-class training, education, consultation, and technical guidance to clients on Thunkable and mobile app development best practices
  • Engage with clients in the Thunkable Community, providing expert product advice and evangelizing top Thunkable use-cases
  • Create Thunkable templates that can be used by other Thunkable clients and creators
  • Provide sound recommendations about the platform and 3rd party integrations, while providing a clear understanding of those relationships and how they will work specifically for clients’ needs
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable and maintainable
  • Continuously gather feedback to improve our platform and offerings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Thunkable app development best practices that can be used in templates, customer education resources, marketing materials, and more

What you’ll need

  • Strong technical background with a sound understanding of software development principles; preferably with a computer science degree and/or experience with one or more programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Javascript, React Native, Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to customers, preferably for a technical B2B SaaS product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A problem solver with autonomous motivation and creative-thinking who is excited to push the limits on what's possible with no-code/low-code technology
  • Inspiring presentation skills that will help clients, customers, and stakeholders feel ready to take on app development for themselves
  • Having experience in developer relations, technical product support, and/or as a product architect is ideal but not required

This position offers a competitive salary that is based on a combination of factors including location. The salary range for this role in San Francisco is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year and will be based on qualifications and skills. If the successful candidate is located in a different location or country, the salary may vary based on the cost of living, currency and other local factors. We are open to discussing salary with candidates who are interested in the role and may be willing to negotiate based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
