Position Summary
This position will report to the Social Media and Communications Manager and be part of a team of talented and creative colleagues leading social media, web, email, and content marketing. You will also work closely with key stakeholders across Anonymous Philanthropy.
Overview Of Role
Anonymous Philanthropy is seeking a savvy, ambitious Community Manager to join our social media & communications team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital content marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, blogs, and websites.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic campaigns across both traditional and digital media to promote philanthropic initiatives, programs, partners, and more. You will help amplify initiatives that focus on skilled trades, education, science, and food & beverage, music, and more.
YOUR CORE FOCUS AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
The Social Media Community Manager will be responsible for performing the below tasks. While these are the core duties for this role, the position is not limited to only performing what is captured here.

- Manage YouTube Channels
- Create and produce captivating and entertaining TikTok/IG Reels that reflect the brand.
- Combine a deep understanding of the target customer and brand positioning with engaging content.
- Develop and execute digital content marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization including Influencer Marketing, Brand & Digital.
- Manage daily YouTube, TikTok community, and Instagram, ensuring brand tone, voice and personality are consistent and elevated.
- Identify relevant social, and ecommerce industry trends for in-the-moment content creation opportunities.
- Responsible for daily management of responses to social media posts.
- Lead monthly reporting + key insights and execute campaign-specific reports.
- Engage 1 on 1 with the community to generate brand love and loyalty.
- This role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for (copywriting, video, GIF, still imagery) and then to
- Content monthly calendar and organization of workflows must be developed and managed.
- Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Create compelling and engaging content and stories that resonate with our target audience, including blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters,
video, and other digital assets.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization to improve the performance of digital content.
- Contribute writing and editing to other writers' work to maintain brand consistency across channels.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital content marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to track KPIs and ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage and maintain the company's content calendar, ensuring that all digital content is delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital content marketing.
What Do You Need To Succeed
Successful candidates for this role will have a mix of the below experience, education, and skills. We are flexible in considering your background but want to ensure that you have the tools to thrive! Please review and make sure that your skill set aligns with:
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field(s).
- 1-3 years of social media and content marketing experience.
- Experience utilizing media/social media monitoring platforms such as Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
- Able to work with principal stakeholders and clients.
- A proven track record of successfully writing and editing for a variety of platforms and contributing to integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Love driving ideas and projects forward! There’s no challenge you’ve met yet that you haven’t figured out.
- Content creation experience across short-form video including editing and social copy, with a portfolio showcasing past work.
- Deep and applied knowledge of social industries and trends on Youtube, TikTok & Instagram Expertise in growing social follower counts.
- Strong analytical skills for measuring/tracking success.
- A Passion for storytelling.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants.
- Experience in the influencer marketing space.
- Exceptional written (including copywriting) and verbal communication skills.
- Storing photo and video editing skills.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid remote schedule - office in Laguna Hills CA, Ideally, live in CA

- 100% of the cost of employee health, vision and dental. Employee is responsible for dependent costs.
- 401K match of 100% of the annual contributions up to 3% of your salary and then 50% of matching for the next 2%

Pay Range:
60K-80K depending on experience.
