Team Overview: Enterprise Systems provides web and mobile solutions to the support the critical support functions of United Airlines. We support all the Financial, Human Resource, Procurement, Communications, Fuel Management, Employee Travel and RPA Center of Excellence. The world's greatest airline is set to become the largest. This is a hands-on project manager role, responsible for coordinating the digital technology needs of the Aviate Academy. United is the first carrier to launch its own flight school. This role will the single point of contact for the Aviate Academy into United’s digital technology organization. The role will prioritize needs and navigate the security, infrastructure and logistical aspects to fulfill requests to support the Academy. It will also help the Aviate Academy define requirements and prioritize projects while managing expectations. Strong communication, listening and negotiation skills are required. This role will also be asked to help consolidate across Enterprise Systems for key areas including security and infrastructure compliance and key communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key Flight Operations, Aviate Academy, DT and Security partners and leaders
- Be the primary interface for key business and technology stakeholders for assigned products
- Establish and manage roadmaps for Academy technology
- Manage ongoing updates to roadmaps and communications across multiple key stakeholders
- Define and maintain project plans to ensure deadlines are met and functionality is delivered
- Understand Academy needs and provide solutions to meet them
- Manage business case development, as needed, for initiatives
- Document scope and conduct business analysis for initiatives
- Lead the analysis & design phases of strategic initiatives, as needed
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop change management plans

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business or related field
- Strong knowledge of project management, business case development and business analysis
- Strong problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present ideas to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
- Effective influencer and ability to work with large cross-functional teams to manage, support and solve problems
- Ability to understand, communicate and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Proven skills in project planning, roadmap development and detailed status reporting
- Proven track-record of ownership and delivery
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplined team
- A passion for details and quality in delivery
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
