Senior Associate, Social Intelligence
EssenceMediacom’s Creative Futures team is seeking a spirited, organized, and hard-working individual for a Senior Associate Social Intelligence to join the Organic Social team. Creative Futures is a new kind of creative activation shop, at the intersection of brand, performance, and emerging media. We collaborate with brands who want to innovate and produce breakthrough campaigns that earn attention and inspire action, providing brand & content strategy, full-service creative production, influencer marketing, consumer engagement and dynamic creative.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Work alongside and collaborate with client and internal teams
- Manage workflow and prioritize assignments to ensure deadlines and client expectations are being met
- Take a ‘no stone unturned approach’ to analytics with acute attention to detail in the reporting to ensure insights are actionable and outputs are high quality
- Collaborate with other Analysts and Intelligence Lead to contribute to the framework, methodology, and KPIs for social analysts to consistently evolve social intelligence reports
- Support client relationships on scoped accounts
- Contribute to the assessment of social intelligence technologies to ensure agency subscribes to best-in-class suppliers
- Support agency’s new business activity
- Support agency’s internal research initiatives, POVs’ white papers and thought leadership
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications; OR equivalent professional work experience
- 1-2 years of social media or primary research experience
- Strong understanding of the social media space and main platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
- Experience working with social listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon, Talkwalker, etc.), platform performance tools (e.g., Unmetric, Sharablee, etc.) and influencer/audience analysis tools (e.g., CubeYou/Helixa, TaggerMedia, SocialRank, etc.) with a “tool agnostic” mentality that can pick up a new tool and learn quickly if necessary
- Conversant with current and evolving social media strategies, measurement tools and technologies and knowledge of social media marketing industry benchmarks
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel to easily manipulate data, and PowerPoint to tell a compelling story through data
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently sift through data to identify actionable insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to apply insights from other brands’ case studies to our clients to identify potential opportunities
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Curious, passionate, energetic, and nimble

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
