Salary Range: $80,225.86 - $128,153. Applies to locations with a market like our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. The typical hiring range is $85,000 - $105,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. World Vision is looking for an experienced Senior PR Manager to set the vision, exponentially grow, and execute an end-to-end influencer strategy: including curating talent for campaigns, negotiating rates, managing contract development, influencer relations, and KPI reporting. With World Vision’s target audience segments in mind, use your established network of contacts to build strong relationships with brand-relevant celebrities, influencers, and thought leaders.
You will report to the National Director of Public Relations and join our 9-person Public Engagement team bringing your strong leadership skills, sound news judgment, and seasoned influencer relations experience. You will work with influencers and journalists, travel internationally and domestically, and meet inspiring people changing lives. You will need to spot media opportunities and work cross-functionally to create newsworthy narratives that raise brand awareness. You will be part of a supportive public relations team, working together to achieve organizational goals.

02 What success looks like
- Build, secure leadership approval, and project manage a strategic organization-wide influencer plan which exponentially grows earned influencers and thought leaders. This includes building customized value propositions, preparing partnership presentations, pitching/negotiating with potential partners, and maintaining individual partnership plans for each engaged celebrity/influencer.
- Create a paid influencer and a paid media plan including strategy, budget, and analysis.
- Lead and work well cross-functionally with multiple departments.
- Develop KPI’s for the influencer program, use metrics to respond, pivot, and improve the program in real-time. Manage a clear, accessible platform for tracking outreach/engagement, requests, and all outputs for all celebrities and influencers.
03 You Bring
Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent public relations work in-house or at an agency with a focus on influencer marketing (earned and paid) and talent management. Additionally, this role requires 8+ years of work experience in journalism, public relations, or media relations. Direct work experience with journalists in national news organizations is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills in developing influencer strategy from the ground up. Proven track record identifying, attracting, and maintaining a wide range of influencer/celebrity partnerships to enhance brand awareness and campaigns. Current relationships with influencers, celebrities, journalists, and national news organizations.
Experience building influencer and paid media plans and general knowledge of talent agreements. The ability to oversee and write supporting talking points, press releases, marketing decks, etc. for influencers and other prospects, building and maintaining a series of pitch decks, easily accessible to the broader team, to take advantage of in real-time.
Experience building and managing events and/or field visits for influencers, this includes, managing logistics, traveling with the influencer, and ensuring content requests are captured. Deep understanding of paid media, influencer marketing, social media platforms, and current trends, with an emphasis on Instagram, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Analytical mindset, with a strong ability to set a vision, create strategies based on research, and utilize KPI’s to inform strategic decisions. Strong grasp of the consumer lifestyle and entertainment industry, as well as cause marketing initiatives that engage celebrities and influencers. Up-to-date understanding of the media landscape, including growing and emerging mediums.
Proven ability to thrive with intelligence & discernment in a deadline-driven, ever-changing work environment. Flexible with schedule and ability to be reachable 24/7 to respond to urgent situations. Media spokesperson skills and ability to train other spokespeople. Must keep Christ central in your individual and corporate life including participating in and leading weekly devotions and attending weekly Chapel services. Domestic and/or international travel is up to 25% of the job.
