Beauty Tech (formerly LVMH – PCIS – Perfumes & Cosmetics Information Services), shared IT department manages internationally all the Information Systems of the Houses of the LVMH Beauty Division (formerly Perfumes and Cosmetics) of the LVMH Group (Parfums Christian Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Make Up Forever, Acqua Di Parma, Loewe, Benefit, Fresh, KVD, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Marc Jacobs, Cha Ling, Fenty, Ole Henriksen and STELLA by Stella McCartney).
In a constantly evolving retail environment where the customer experience is paramount, we are a true Business Partner of all business departments to provide new technical and innovative solutions, adapted to the challenges of our Houses by taking into account their specificity, while following a shared service model.
Today, nearly 350 people in France and more than 650 around the world work together to meet the challenges of Beauty Tech. Our teams are composed of both technical experts (developer, tech lead, architect, etc.) and business experts (Project Manager, Business Process Manager, Business Analyst).
Position Overview
As an HRBP to Beauty Tech Americas, you will be a key change partner and influencer in people, organization and the success of Beauty Tech within the Division. We grow our business and service our internal and external clients through our teams while developing them to higher performance and engagement. You will work closely with the VP HRBP, BPC & Beauty Tech, CIO Americas, Beauty Tech Leadership Team and other HR colleagues in the Beauty Division, LVMH NA and LVMH Group HQ on the transformation of Beauty Tech Americas and the development and execution of Best Practice, Policies and Procedures, ensuring Group synergies.
In addition, 20% of your time will have a Global Remit, as the Communications and EVP lead for Beauty Tech globally, in partnership with the Global HR Director, Beauty Tech, based in Paris.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Talent Management
- You will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, fostering and maintaining employee relationships through coaching and advising, assist in organizational effectiveness efforts, as well as building consistency and compliance into daily HR related processes.
- Deliver on strategy focused on narrowing talent gaps, increasing both retention and employee engagement. Make recommendations for the HR strategy of the business area with a view to continuous improvement. Manage Engagement Survey and action planning for client group
- Ensure all policies and practices are aligned to support a diverse employee population and inclusive work culture
- Act as day-to-day contact and coach to Managers and their teams.
- Draw conclusions and recommendations based on trends of HR data points – foster a test & learn mindset
Profile
Transformation
- Ensure cross-functional animation between HR and the Beauty Tech Americas Transformation Leads of the Beauty Tech Americas restructure, in partnership with VP HR
- In partnership with VP HR BPC & Beauty Tech, participate in defining key Project workstreams at the regional level for the integration of new Brands into the Beauty Tech Americas structure (eg. Benefit Cosmetics and Kendo Brands in 2023)
- Act as day-to-day project lead with the Beauty Tech Americas Leadership team and the HR teams of the Brands being integrated into BT Americas.
- Establish best in class project working methods and processes within the BPC and Beauty Tech Americas HR team. Sharing best practice across the Divisional HR team.
- On Board and Manage change agents and change Ambassadors to the various projects under your remit
- Set up a development plan for the team and its skills to constantly improve its know-how and align its organization with Beauty Tech needs
Talent Acquisition
- Manage recruiting needs in partnership with the Talent Team.
- Ensure high priority roles receive the right amount of focus and that job profiles allow for a wide range of diverse candidates
- Monitor business unit to ensure they are staffed according to plan/budget supporting annual budget/R1/R2
Talent Development
- Coach Management in Beauty Tech to be more effective leaders, ensure LVMH House learning/other learning opportunities are maximized
- Ensure development plans are in place and activated per OMR (100% of CKC and Hi-Po talents)
- Lead the Onboarding process for the client group, ensuring there is a solid framework in place, the process is continually upgraded, and the employee experience is at the center
- Participate in key annual initiatives for client group; Organization Management Review (OMR) + IDPs - Performance Review process (RISE) – Engagement Survey + Action Plans
- Help coach, create and design content of performance reviews, objectives and developmental stretch assignments in alignment with goals of company and aspirations of employees.
- Manage mobility process for Beauty Tech in partnership with the VP HR and Talent Team.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations issues in Beauty Tech in partnership with VP HR
- Oversee claims, conduct/support investigations, mediate contentious situations and manage employee terminations in partnership with VP HR.
- Manage all internal employee communications
- Manage re-organizations in partnership with VP HR.
Compensation/Reporting/Budget Planning
- Ownership & oversight of respective population headcount & staff costs budget, staffing requisition process
- Partner with VP HR and Total Rewards lead to ensure employee compensation is in line with budget, external benchmarks and equity standards
- Execute severance/separation packages ensuring partnership with LVMH legal and VP/HR
- Partner with VP HR and liaise w/Total rewards to manage the annual Compensation Review (ICR) process for client group
- Oversee immigration cases and liaise with Talent Acquisition partner(s) for all ex-pat employment offers
Additional information
GLOBAL REMIT - Beauty Tech Internal Communications& EVP (20%)
- Contribute to all global internal communication by drafting or proof-reading content (announcements, HR news, etc)
- Take ownership of the Beauty Tech global org chart, and ensure its accuracy and consistency
- In close coordination with the Beauty Tech Talent Acquisition Manager, participate to creating Beauty Tech’s EVP.
- Co-write with global HRD content that can be posted internally or externally
- Propose trainings or quick wins to help improve Beauty Tech’s communication skills at global level
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Significant, proven experience as a commercial HR Business Partner
- Ability to conceptualize and research new ideas. Detail-minded. Adaptable to change, with highly effective problem-solving skills
- Business oriented: quantitative results and KPIs measurement
- Change management: ability to implement new processes and lead the change
- Highly motivated & organized with good time management skills. Strong ability to plan and forecast.
- Excellent verbal, written & communications
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $112,540.00 - $142,500.00.
