What you'll do

This position is responsible for developing the end-to-end vision, strategy, roadmap and team initiatives related to Growth Marketing Experiences worldwide, including all the ways in which customers learn about and create a DocuSign account. The role must be able to manage consistencies across a growing team and build product experiences that enable and empower our Digital Business Teams, Demand Generation Teams, Sales Teams, Product Marketers and Web Content Teams with the right tools and capabilities to efficiently complete DocuSign’s strategic goals.

As the Lead Product Manager you will be responsible for developing the product and experimentation roadmap that expands across our growth channels. You’ll shape the roadmap and craft experiences that transform our freemium models; creating different ways customers can try DocuSign products, and eventually drive digital and direct conversions. Your work will drive a reduction in customer acquisition costs, increase speed to market, and improve the end-to-end journey for how customers experience DocuSign products. As the marketing technology landscape evolves, we need to give our marketers the tools and guidance to remain competitive so that we can focus on what matters most, our customers.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product.

Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our Digital and Direct Business
  • Articulate DocuSign’s Growth Marketing Experience vision, strategies, priorities, and desired outcomes
  • Lead the creation of a well-supported product strategy to optimize freemium models that support the Marketing Experience growth channels
  • Oversee the entire user acquisition funnel, from targeting and segmentation to ad creative production, traffic analysis, performance and optimization of our campaigns
  • Partner closely with Digital Business Teams, Demand Generation Teams, Sales Teams, Product Marketing Leads and key partners to define a compelling long-term vision
  • Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders across DocuSign to enable durable and reusable marketing experiences
  • Prioritize the experimentation and product roadmap consistently based on customer outcomes and communicate commitments and updates to your customers
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams: Analytics, Product Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering to drive the growth marketing vision forward
  • Be responsible for the KPIs, performance and measurement of the Growth Marketing product experience, including impact to the business
  • Leverage usability studies, business and product usage data, external industry trends, and metrics to create marketing experiences that satisfy customer needs, and the business cannot live without
  • Partner closely with strategic partners of DocuSign to align on technology partnerships while remaining laser focused on building the right user experience of the highest quality for self-serve capabilities
  • Serve as a team lead for mid-to-senior level product managers, while also serving as the frontlines product manager for the Growth Squad

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 12+ years of proven experience in product management, growth marketing, user acquisition, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS or app industry
  • Experience with various acquisition channels, including social media, search, display, and influencer marketing
  • Experience in full-funnel marketing optimization, personalization and performance analysis of freemium acquisition models

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • Strong track record of proven and documented success in driving user growth, engagement, and retention through innovative marketing strategies
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with external partners
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $165,800 - $265,625 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $157,900 - $223,075 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $157,900 - $234,275 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
