Job Description

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product's sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

Job Complexity / Scope

Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person is responsible for the successful translation of learning needs into actionable sales enablement solutions. This role is responsible for developing blended sales enablement solutions, experiences and journeys that enable the Oracle Applications Way.

Supervision

Reports to the NAA Sales Excellence Enablement Lead. Will support client-first experience methodology for new and recurring design projects.

Preferred Experience

5+ years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to uncover learning needs and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to accurately set, manage, and meet deadlines. Can work on and prioritize multiple initiatives and manage up as necessary
  • Customer-First Mindset: Strong customer-focused orientation, including a superior client first attitude and approach, with strong attention to active listening and understanding
  • Experience developing blended, modern and immersive learning solutions that include digital job aids, Virtual Instruction Led Training and Instructor Lead Training, sales playbooks, practice and application activities, workshops, micro learnings, gamification, etc. Experience in video scripting, production and editing.
  • Experience using training development tools such as Articulate Rise, Adobe Storyboard, etc.
  • Sound understanding of adult learning theory and models (ADDIE).
  • Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple highly polished and professional work under tight timelines.
  • Experience in supporting a portfolio of work efforts aimed at bringing to life new ideas for how to meaningfully engage with our customers and sales teams

ANTICIPATED DUTIES/WORK TASKS

An integral part of this role will involve a relentless push for sales enablement excellence, and to make sure that every sales rep and leader

  • Translate complex learning problems and needs into practical, impactful and engaging sales enablement solutions that enable the Oracle Applications Way.
  • Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums while accommodating multiple learning styles.
  • Integrate adult learning theory best practices into course development.
  • Collaborate with team members of all levels and disciplines and contributes with their perspective in discussions.
  • Continually evolve content based on stakeholder and learner feedback.
  • Present instructional designs and articulate strategy behind your solutions to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide sales enablement consultation. Execute train-the-trainers.

Compensation:

California Pay Range: from $90,100 to $166,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Colorado Pay Range: from $86,400 to $166,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

New York City Pay Range: from $90,100 to $166,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Washington Pay Range: from $90,100 to $166,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.
