Job Description
Zscaler is seeking an experienced Finance Director to support our Partner & Alliances and Marketing organizations. As a key member of the GTM Finance team, this leadership position will play a critical role in developing strong financial models and frameworks to aid in decision making that supports sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, a deep understanding of Cloud / SaaS / Sales, and proven experience in building investment models/analysis to support investment decisions, while also improving processes and tools to efficiently support scaling the business in a high growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the finance business partner to the SVP, WW Partner & Alliances Sales and Chief Marketing Officer, and their respective leadership teams
- Drive the annual planning and monthly / quarterly forecasting processes and variance analysis
- Develop financial models and frameworks to assess investment requests and aid in strategic decision making and funding prioritization; including long range modeling to support areas of investment with longer ROI horizon
- Work cross functionally with the business and accounting on incentive based programs such as Marketing Development Funds, SPIFF’s, and other special programs; develop outcomes focused measurements and metrics to track performance
- Partner with the business, operations, and IT to create repeatable and scalable reporting and dashboards
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis of performance, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity
- Collaborate with Sales Compensation and the business to review performance results and effectiveness of compensation plans for the Partner & Alliances team
- Coach and develop a Sr Finance Manager focused on Marketing, and work with dotted line resources within the India Center of Excellence
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or operations in a high growth Enterprise SaaS or Software technology company; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Strategy or related field; MBA preferred
- Prior experience supporting Partner & Alliances and/or Marketing preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations in order to drive decision-making and execution
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
- Experience driving planning and forecasting processes, including coordination, communication, managing deadlines
- Proven ability to develop and/or improve processes in support of growth and scale
- Proficient in Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, Salesforce.com, Clari, and/or other comparable software systems, a plus
Additional Information
The base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 - $220,000 + equity + benefits.
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
