Social Strategist
Overview:
The pharmaceutical industry is rife with opportunity for social strategy. The need for strategic social guidance has become even more important as more brands are pursuing social and feeling comfortable moving in to the space.
Saatchi Wellness is looking for a Social Strategist that is hungry to own strategic development and can think outside the box. Someone who understands the wider digital landscape, influencer marketing and an understanding of media channels with a strong focus on social. They will be responsible for strategy, execution, and assisting clients on a daily basis to meet their business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of the social media landscape and can apply creative and innovative thinking to a heavily regulated industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager, (2-3 years experience in strategic role)
- In-depth knowledge of major social platforms including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok
- Proficient in developing social creative briefs and campaigns
- Develop strategic rationale for platforms, based on client objectives and consumer needs
- Able to identify new areas of growth, new potential audiences, and new platforms with which to expand the social media presence
- Craft social personas for the social brand tone and voice
- Develop program mechanics and executional considerations
- Convert product information & facts into authentic social narratives
- Ability to generate data-based insights to utilize in to the strategic process
- Informed and knowledgeable of relevant cultural trends, movements, memes, and social media best practices
- Understand how to execute social campaigns and implement more advanced social campaigns (Experiential, Influencer, UGC)
- Experience in assembling competitive and social landscape audits
- Strong exposure to Community/Content Management tools, such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Netbase, Sysomos, Spredfast, and Sprinklr, etc.
- Well versed in Community Management and Response protocol, publishing content and responding to consumer inquires
- Experience in media planning, comms planning or buying is a plus but is not required
- Partner with Creative team to help ensure content is appealing and works well in the social space
- Knowledge in the healthcare advertising and HCP social is not required

Principal Responsibilities
- Develop internal relationships as a member of the brand strategy team
- Support new business initiatives with innovative digital solutions
- Apply appropriate experience trends and best practices to strategies and content
- Support the development of insight driven digital strategies for assigned clients and new business development; provide sound business justification for investment (based on market trends, audience insights, past campaign data, and past experience)
- Partner with agency and cross-agency teams to pull strategy through all deliverables
- Capable of representing your work to clients
Additional Information
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Compensation Range: $51,000 - $75,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
