We are currently seeking a Vice President, Corporate Communications to join our team.

Focused on corporate identity and a cohesive corporate image, this role is responsible for developing and executing on an enterprise-level communications strategy to convey the beliefs, values, and goals of the organization. Supports Insperity executive leadership and internal partners as a communications advisor, establishing a multi-channel strategy to promote the company and employer brand to target audiences. Functions as a strategist to internal leaders responsible for the various communication platforms, reinforcing consistent corporate and employer brand messaging. Maintains responsibility and oversight for crisis communication, thought leadership, speaker's bureau, social channels, and public relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs the communication strategy in partnership with cross-functional leaders, ensuring a standardized and cohesive approach with measured effectiveness of the communication plans executed across social media, company website, internal intranet and other forms of communication intended for internal and external audiences.
  • Formulates comprehensive communications plans that represent the value proposition and supports execution of content strategies to drive stakeholder engagement, build public trust, positively shape the corporate reputation, boost employee morale, and impact positive business results.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure coordinated, strategic, and impactful messaging reflective of the evolving nature of Insperity’s business.
  • Partners with Brand and Agency to facilitate the alignment of relevant messaging for employees, products, and services to include and not limited to: Insperity corporate employees, Workforce Optimization (WO), Workforce Acceleration (WX), Middle Market (MM) and future portfolio product lines.
  • Works closely with other departments and divisions to understand the audience mindset to create, improve, and maintain effective company-wide and targeted audience messages.
  • Advises departments and process/product owners on alignment of key messages.
  • Directs and leads the Integrated Communications Council (ICC) comprised of senior leaders from across all relevant divisions, to facilitate development of key business and talent messages for the enterprise. Keeps all leaders apprised of communication and brand standards.
  • Develops, trains, and monitors executive company media spokespersons and their public messaging.
  • Supports significant employee wide communications, ensuring alignment of brand messaging across multiple employee communication messages and forums.
  • Leads editorial review and delivers expert advice of all strategic messaging and corporate material: internal, clients, partners, prospects, and external. Develops communications best practices to support internal teams with change management efforts and reinforcement of key messages. Liaisons with the executive team on special projects and initiatives that may impact Corporate Communications internally and externally.
  • Serves as spokesperson for the company as needed, particularly in the event of a major crisis and when building relationships and strategies with major media outlets to create PR, branding, and thought leadership.
  • Oversees the selection of agencies and manages critical relationships with media/public relations and analyst/influencer relations for centralized company-wide strategies as well as product specific and regional support.
  • Curates, architects and promulgates centralized corporate content for internal and external thought leadership and development of Insperity speaker’s bureau.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising) is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Fifteen or more years of corporate communications and PR experience, preferably with high growth companies.
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Executive presence with ability to interact with CEO and Executive team.
  • Ability to build consensus with strong listening skills, persuasive and effective written and verbal communication skills and data driven thought leadership.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
