Director, New Technologies Insights Enabler
The Human Insights Enablers Director is a key leadership role in the HI+MP global team. It combines strong people influential skills with deep human insights expertise leadership and partners leadership. This role represents a high impact full and transformational opportunity for an individual expert that thrives in fast transforming environment, anchored in human disciplines expertise knowledge and a cultural internal evolution.
This role mission is enabling real human insights in our system (vs just data & analytics or observations) and lead a movement for consumers empathy. This role will be responsible for the transformation of data, analytics, observations, learnings in the company with focus on Ps, E@S, Digital & WPP to human insights by increasing our capability to generate 360 human insights from data, analytics, learning etc.. partnering with Human Truth & Experiences Director. (Insight occurs when a person suddenly reinterprets a stimulus, situation, or event to produce a nonobvious, nondominant interpretation. This can take the form of a solution to a problem (an "aha moment"), comprehension of a joke or metaphor, or recognition of an ambiguous percept.)
This person will lead our way to generate Human insights to the projects that consume most of your time, learn how to reveal and analyze human stories that will allow us to scale our learnings and observations to generate long lasting actions by applying the HI generation approach to different geographies, categories, products. HI are the backbone of a continuous learning & experimenting and reapplying process.
This is an significant position requiring deep technical knowledge, strong educational leadership and a good business acumen, providing transformational opportunities for motivated & well-articulated individuals to successfully scale and act on our learnings and experiments across OUs to increase weekly+ . From this role the individual would gain critical human & scalability expertise focus and educational leadership experiences, revolving & speeding the ways we scale and activate the key knowledge to convince those 2.5 billion intenders to become weekly+ cocreating the approach with the HI+ MP worldwide community strategic and day-to-day work ( >120 people in 9 Ous ), partnering with key stakeholders ( Company , Sistema) and generating a competitive advantage for the company to be recognize as best marketing company.
Key Accountabilities
- Sets the agenda to reassure the uncover of differentiated and disruptive insights to drive growth across all data gathering , with special focus on digital, new tools and E@S accountability.
- Defines the sequence required to connect human understanding with the output for rest of areas and generate impactful insights. Special focus on WPP, Digital and E@S
- Embeds a holistic approach reassuring that any research tools, data gathering and analyzing, protocols and E@S, enables strong capabilities on building hypothesis, learnings and most importantly insights
- Defines, shapes leads and implements the human insights generation process to understand more about our consumers and their needs across the globe
- Leads the day-to-day implementation of the framework that reassures quality on human-first insights. Leads the process required to connect data in-depth analyses, rich qualitative research, experts’ input, and broad cultural context, that position HI+ MP WW as the key source of consumer understanding (both deep internal comprehension and external manifestations)
- Empowers a networking of key ambassadors and capacitates them to be the enablers for the data transformation into insights. Identifies best talent (individuals, groups, agencies or institutions worldwide) and nurtures it
- Leads the definition of how implement a human deep lens in the marketing day-to-day plans elaboration and execution.
- Leads the insights generation capability building by merging human disciplines with generative AI
- Works with rest of tools and protocols team to enable actionable insights generation as main output from tools and protocols
- Works with E@s, IMX & WPP team to deeper understand how to scale based on the human why (the insight) that explains activities performance on delivering business and weekly+ growth.
- Defines, Creates, and leads the implementation of insights capability WW deployment, together with E@S, capabilities &transformational office and WPP
- Defines and leads the delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly global human scalable learning in order to influence and be updated in our human centricity.
- Co Creates and coleads with AI product managers and PS (AI) the implementation of the required tools to generate human centric narratives from current & future knowledge and data.
- Leads the engineered combination of human and AI technology
- Key Stakeholder Management
- Leads the identification, definition and implementation of what is a HI, how to find it, express it and socialize it
- Strongly Influences any creation process, with special focus on upscaling design thinking processes.
- Ignites human first culture in key activation and innovation process.
- Must act as TCCC spokesperson in market research industry forums and associations. Must be able to position TCCC as a knowledge leader in human insights segmentation and journey generation making insight a source of competitive advantage for the company.
- Co-create solutions to solve human tensions with functional partners to ignite the achievement of weekly + targets
- Develop talent and inspire the network
- Be responsible for developing talent across marketing and specifically HI+ MP pipeline, with a focus on ensuring we are moving towards a more diverse, advanced and skilled team on deeper human understanding
- Share best practices across zones and implement best practices across geographies to solve critical business questions, igniting results with new processes to generate insights.
- Be an active member of Global HI+MP networking
- Works closely with the broader HI+MP WW team, PS, E@S & digital teams and bringing the network way of working to life
Candidate Profile
- Strategic consultant, leader and partner approach, leading key stakeholders in the understanding of core business challenges by generating, validating and acting on hypotheses.
- Lives and breathes consumer centric thinking, using data to create compelling insights, drive decisions and ideation.
- Has a proven ability to insufflate a Human Insights approach in a short-term transaction approach. By ex:
- From questions of just consumption to questions of identity
- From questions of evaluation to questions of association
- From questions of transaction to questions of context.
- An internal influencer who has deep functional knowledge, has a persuasive and simple approach to driving deep human insights from knowledge, observaitons,data and analytics.
- Consistently creates win-win with internal and external parties (system partners, WPP, E@S, Digital)
- Understands human disciplines and their implications on how to make the required internal transformation to generate insights and wonder the whys behind the what
- Displays of the company’s leadership and growth behaviors

Experience & Background
- Good business acumen
- Proven expertise on the cognitive neuroscience of insight
- Deep understanding on how new AI generative should revolve the way we generate and socialize insights among the organization
- Proactive consulting skills that drive business impact.
- Must have leaded significant amount of work on human disciplines (psychologist, sociologist, anthropologist)
- Must have clear evidence on how to generate an strong and deep human insight.
- Well versed with research protocols, leading practices, services, and solutions.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, resource requirements and meet deadlines
- Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across diverse and dispersed geographies.

- Strong communication skills for sharing thought leadership in the system and externally to enhance company reputation.

- Ability to develop people, skills in coaching, mentoring, and learning on the job
- >10 years’ experience on insights generation and human insights process (insights or qualitative lead in agencies, insight in design agencies, . or FMG companies)
- Bachelor’s degree in human disciplines, business, marketing or a related field of study. Master's degree good to have
